Amazing find ! I get out of my truck at Rio Verde at a park near the river, there is asphalt parking and a solid concrete walkway right..... I detect to the right of the sidewalk walking down toward the boat ramp and woo-woow ...... I start digging my friend says man let's go down to the river that's trash..... and I'm like it's weak but sounds good..... and guess what I found a 1/2 gram nugget...... But I still have a signal ? I keep digging and about 6-8 inches deep I come to a gigantic river rock..... at least 20 pounds..... Kept digging around it using my crevice tool and under the rock I find a shinny (4.54) gram perfect nugget well worn ...... and still getting a signal...... I was digging (for over 3 hours) in that hole and pulling out river rocks and nuggets...... I found a total of 7-nuggets (9.3) grams total ....... They covered the river bed and put up a parking lot.....Like a song .......

I always enjoy your optimism Adam. I pulled a deep sweet target one time in a remote area and was all hopped up like an addict I imagine would feel. 18” later and a super heavy target plopped in my scoop. It was a meteorite and I remember saying “ son of a bi@$H”. I should have been more thankful just for being outside, healthy and finding treasure. Enough about me. @ 1:16 I think in some cases you wish it would be a meteorite as they can sell for a pretty good price to the right buyer, some people metal detect only for meteorites. BTW - and I know I say this with every video that you make - love your videos, and absolutely love the weigh-in of the nugget! Great find!

I just need to pull the trigger and get myself a detector. I've been watching you and other pull great finds, not just nuggets, all the time. I live in an area that was heavily mined, but multiple oz nuggets can still be found.

I know how you feel.I found a 7.5 gram noogie but couldn't believe it was gold so I left it for a couple of weeks then looked at it with a microscope and found that it is.😁😁😁 it's on my channel if you want a peak👍 I found it in a stream in a lovely bedrock bench while sluicing.

Great nugget! I just got my first gold machine and I’m in northern New Mexico. I haven’t found any gold yet. Any advice would be greatly appreciate. Maybe I need to go camping in Arizona and detect out there for couple days.
