Exploring a potential new research area in Coal County Oklahoma. These bottomlands and the creek that runs through it are very near Muddy Boggy Creek. This area has a long history of Bigfoot sightings and looks promising for future expeditions. Hope you enjoy the scenery and watching me getting eaten by the swarms of mosquitos.

So i just came back from vacation in the Hochatown and Broken Bow area. While I didn’t see any Sasquatch. Coming from Missouri i never realized how beautiful it is in parts of Oklahoma. I envy you getting to explore such an awesome place all the time.

Beautiful area for Sasquatch . We live in southwest Louisiana and we have huge mosquitos; rightly nicknamed our state bird ! Also the snakes too!

Dave I also have a phobia with flying and heights. I have flown a bit, including to your great country from New Zealand (12-13hrs) a few times and back, and it's become more accepting in my head. Once I'm up, and comfortable, I love looking out the window and enjoying the view- it dosent really trigger height anxiety as I so high it's almost cartoonish ....with views often just water, and big ships for us. I think it has a lot to do with 'control'. I drive everywhere on land, and the thought of having some guy ive never met up front 'driving'me dosent sit well....and the thoughts of engineering redundancies in the plane etc. The best experience is in a big jet, 777 and up, clear calm day and short flight. Anyway mate thanks for taking on the mozzies for us! Cheers!
@BigfootandMore
@BigfootandMore 2 роки тому
I might like flying if I ever did it. I just haven't had a good reason to do so and I would rather drive if possible. I call flying my last phobia. New Zealand is a beautiful country. Do you have anything like a Sasquatch over there. I've heard about the Yowie in your neighbor Australia.
@windyboy78
@windyboy78 2 роки тому
@@BigfootandMore yes its beautiful here, and yea, we have the Moehau. Rarely seen or for that matter, researched, but there are some accounts YT if you look it up. Essentially the same as a BF or Yowie. I'm hoping to get over 'the ditch'to Aussie later this year and have look in some of their forests. There is in incredible amount of stories coming out eastern Australia of encounters.

Heights, spiders, and flying are my phobias, pretty much in that order. You talking about tarantulas, made me think of my uncle that lived in Ada. He would catch tarantulas, and let them crawl around on him. When I was a kid and we would go visit him, he would always tell us kids to not go in the basement, because that was where he kept some. I don't know if he did, or if it was his way of keeping us out of the basement. It worked! I always enjoy your videos, they always make me want to come back to Oklahoma. Keep up the great work Dave.

Interesting trek. You can see paths that animals or something potentially larger have been. I used to track deer for my dad on our homestead in the Adirondacks. Lemon oil for skeeters or simply spray yourself with vinegar, if you can stand it.lol be safe

On the hike through the woods towards the canyon I didn't get one mosquito bite. Soon as I got in the Bottoms near the swamp they attacked with a vengeance. It was then that I realized I didn't apply repellent. And by that time I was too far in to go back for it. Oh well. Live and learn.

I've been bitten by a brown recluse twice. Once on the upper arm Last summer and once on the leg years ago. The bite on the arm got progressively worse till I zapped it with a stun gun. It cleared up pretty quick after that. The bite was no worse than a mosquito bite but the after effects were no fun.

They call them may apples because (at least in WV) they grow a little cherry tomatoe sized "fruit" on it in the first few weeks of May. Right on top each will produce a single berry. They arent great to eat.

There have been moose and elk sighted in Oklahoma and they are very tall, so the eye shine could have been moose. I wouldn't assume it's bigfoot unless you actually see bigfoot not just eye shine. It's good to be logical in these situations.
@BigfootandMore
@BigfootandMore 2 роки тому
Elk perhaps, but only if it was on one of the places they bring them in for people to hunt. There are no moose here though. Yes, I do agree that logic is a good thing. Thanks for watching and for the comment!

Just joking I think the Misquetos have invented the Bigfoot phenomenon as a way to get people into the woods so they get to eat. I drove trucks for 43 years and Misquetos never bothered me , now I’m retired and haven’t been around trucks for 5 years they eat me alive. I think being around d iesel fuel and fumes may act as a deterrent. Fear of Heights get me every time , they turn me into a statue. On those rare occasions when I found myself looking off a high building or a cliff I freeze and I’m afraid to move.
