man theres just never a shortage of experiences in that area. you gotta love that part of Oklahoma.

My wife and I acquired some property in that area and will be moving there in the near future. I definitely plan to keep my head on a swivel and be careful.

My first (possible) encounter was near Honobia. This would have been the week of Thanksgiving, about 1972. At the time I lived in Hugo and was deer hunting with a relative that lived in Rattan. We parked next to a dim road on Weyerhaeuser property. We walked down a hill to a small creek. He walked up stream and I started walking down street. Best I remember i had only walked a couple of hundred feet when I came upon a very large dead hog. It looked as if it's neck was ripped open. The blood was still bright red. We had been hunting in the general area all morning and had heard no gun shots or encountered any other hunters. As you stated, in this area it's extremely brushy with dense trees. I turned around and headed back to the truck, honked the horn and got my uncle back. I explained to him what I saw. He said that there were a few black bears in the area and the occasional cat, but most likely they woud not tackle a large sow. I would not have another encounter until 1977 on the north end of the Hugo lake.

David, hello I'm Jason Gibbons f I live in Dublin Ireland, guess I've had intereste in Bigfoot from around.6 or 7 years old, seems as far back as I can remember weird or strange thing were happening but then I'm in my teen ,like 12 "13 early teens and thank god when something would happen aldo the older I got the less things happened, but when something did occurre someone was with me so I had confirmation, validation:) but thats other story but I guess I had to put my past in this comment because I think it's why I have an interest in the Bigfoot topic , over the years I've seen two videos come out of the Dublin Mountains (Wicklow) for at least ten years I was the only person who showed up around the community fb groups the liike and got to know people like Tim Fasaon ,rip , Derek Rrandles Johnny bigfoot Sought Jersey Sasquatch to name just a few, so there wasn't a following, and iin the 1980's not one person could tell yyou what Bigfoot was or looked like, but I know of four brothers that went camping in the Dublin Mountains , Paddy is the brother who told me the story , he had two older brothers and one younger brothes with him , he said he noticed the oldest brother staring attthe biggest tree but his brother looked terrified ? The younger brother who was sitting onthe opposite side to Paddy and to the far side ofthe older brother was sitting were he could see clearly what was making his older brother so scared, the momentthe younger brother saw it he more or less screamed, the thingthe two brotherssaw they sawa big Black THING covered with black hair from head totoe and about 8 feet tall , Paddy said he didn't see it but when his younger brother screamed , Paddy said it sounded likea train driving through the woods breaking trees as it left ,Paddy is your old school gangster at least back in the day he was but today he's just Paddy and a nice guy has no interest in Bigfoot but think's it had to have beenone of them Bigfoots , in his words , ? I know Bigfoot in Ireland right ? But what do you think ? Please if you could give an opinion on this matter I'd be very grateful .

I went to the doctor today. They have a covered driveway by the door. It had a sign that said 9ft clearance. I stood there for a second, imagining standing next to one of those boogers. Amazing!!

That was a very recent sighting Dave. What ever it was it sounds huge. Let me just say that the other day I went to Lowe's to buy something I needed. And they had the Christmas 🎄 trees on display. Man.... they had a 9 ft and 10 ft tree it was huge. Imagine seeing this forest people that sizes man. Thanks for all you do man. Stay safe and God bless.

Here in NE Texas near red river and lower in sulphur river bottoms they are mean and aggressive we take pot shots at them.

I live in Oklahoma and have been following Bigfoot sightings for less than a year, and I was wondering if anyone has said could Bigfoot be “beings” that are manifested by ppl. They’re possibly seen only by those around and keep be captured bc they’re not technically really visible like that. Just a thought. Thanks for all you do!
