Growing up, one of my best friends had severe Tourettes syndrome. He worked very hard to manage it. In his case, he would yelp uncontrollably, or burst out with a swear word. Physically, he would have a strong neck and body twitch. At first, school kids would make fun of him, but after they understood what he was going through, most classmates were tolerant, and often supportive. It really gave me an appreciation for the courage and strength that people with this condition go through. He has since gotten a PhD in Physics and is a professor.

I felt some head ticks coming from ADHD meds and it scared the s* out of me because I never ever experienced anything like that in my whole life. I'm gradually stopping the meds and the tics is going away... All I can say it's very embarrassing and uncomfortable to twitch your heard (or body) in strange positions all of sudden. It must be really hard to live w it for life

Billie é mais forte que o tourette. Já era fã,agora fiquei mais ainda por sua força e determinação. Te amo pequena Billie. Se eu pudesse guardava vc em um potinho 😍

That looks kinda painful, tbh

I have the same exact tic where she moves her head to the side and opens her eyes wide. It’s my main tic. When I get stuck (doing it over and over and can’t stop) it hurts. It pulls my eye muscles so hard and the side of my neck I’m bending starts feeling like something is going to pop. It’s so uncomfortable. Luckily I only get “stuck” like once a week on average.

Wow so thats tourettes, its way different from this youtuber Anna, she acts more like she wants attention idk
@tristanrodriguez8254Рік тому
@@samuelesquivel6202 not all tics are the same. tics affect people differently and people have different tics from other people.

@@samuelesquivel6202 like i said, not all tics are the same so comparing two people's tics is pretty much useless. also could you give me a link to the persons channel? i looked up "anna tourettes" and I found sweet anita, who know for a fact has tourettes

The rxn from her mom when she was saying she bit Down on glass was classic. She looked like she was saying…. “She’s such a drama queen “
