Billy the Kid was one of the more infamous outlaws in the American wild west. He was known as a teenage gunslinger that few would dare cross. Don Sweet owns the museum dedicated to his legend in the town where he too was shot in an ambush, then remains buried to this day in the Pecos River Valley south of Fort. Sumner, New Mexico. #MuseumTour #WildWest #FortSumnerNewMexico #TravelNewMexico #AmericanHeartlands

My Dad's Uncle, Juan Widner, married Petra Coleman in the 30's maybe? Well.... Petra's Dad and Grandfather owned a ranch in Rodey, N.M. Patricio Coleman Sr. bought the land and started the ranch in the mid-1800's and we're told that Billy was a ranch hand for a time. I need to find out if there's any pictures from that time that may have Billy in them. This seems to be common knowledge among the family and Billy made a living working as an itinerant ranch hand before getting into trouble.

He says “turns out Brushy was 20 years too young”. That’s a misconception created in 1988, that mistook Him for Ollie P Robert’s, a cousin to the man he claimed to be, William H Roberts. He went by an Alias Ollie L Roberts, and that’s where the confusion came from. Whether he was Billy, who knows but he had 18 different people sight affidavits to knowing brushy in the 18880s and 90s as an adult, working jobs at a time when Ollie P was a child. A branding iron with a plain tip can be used to change a brand on cattle and horses. The hot iron can be used to "draw" a new brand by altering the old one. The common name for such an iron is a "running" iron because it is run over the hide rather than stamping. A common tool used by rustlers who would likely be hung for stealing livestock back then. Many times without a trial. The running iron shone in the video has a curved tip for easier drawing and holds heat longer than a pointed tip.

Definitely more fun to think Billy wasn’t killed given the events surrounding his death and the reason he was began fighting. I’m not saying he was perfect, though I’m sure the opposing side tried to smear his name with more than he ever did-I just think he was fighting the good fight against the Sante Fe ring. He lost his life because of it, however, I think we are fighting or should be anyway, a much larger and more corrupt ring…

Billy did not lose his life. Brushy Bill Roberts was 100% William H Bonney, aka Billy The Kid. Go to Brett Hall's channel and listen to all the evidence. Read Brett's book The Real Billy The Kid AKA Brushy Bill Roberts. History needs to be told truthfully

Brushy bill Roberts claimed he lost his hat and a revolver as he escaped across the creek north of McSweens burning house during that famous gunfight.......someone should contact netflix, Stan or paramount and do a recorded doco to try to find that revolver.....it would still be in that creek if Roberts is Billy the kid.

Reversing that original is non scientific. Camera don’t take pictures of things not there, and if you reverse the photo the loading gat shows up out of nowhere. The Loading gate is not on left side. Cameras don’t just make stuff up.

I think someone should do research on katherine Billy's mother some say she was born in Ireland and some say she wasn't! I'm sure she has folks in Ireland I wonder if anybody ever went and did research on katherine...

Anyone with a lick of sense knows that is a crock. Why some folks hero worship a sociopath, homicidal maniac, criminal that murdered at least three law enforcement officers by ambush. Had he somehow managed to live, how long could he have stayed on the straight and narrow? These claims of him being "Brushy Bill" Roberts are beyond ridiculous.
