I came back here after 10 years... I'm 24 now. And as I sit here drinking my jameson margaritas I recall my past. Black Veil Brides helped young me have the confidence to stand up and fight to survive against all odds. I felt that was the message they instilled in me at that young impressionable age. So here's to their legacy they have left on the world. In my world. Cheers to Andy and all my other BVB fans who feel the same way. If your young like I was and suicidal, struggling, fighting with every ounce of fight just know that it may not get easier, but staying true to yourself helps. My oldest son, introduced me to BVB and we went to see them in London in 2019. I never went to any concerts, in my 20s, but now in my 40s I'm going to shitloads lol. Bvb always felt like a guilty pleasure even though I only ever liked a handful of their songs, but this one will absolutely never get old. The instrumental jams are so fire, and the way the vocals match the vibe makes me question why I was ever even embarrassed. Moral of the story - if your friends or family or whatever don’t approve of your music taste, don’t take it to heart. Just don’t listen to it around them. It really is that simple.

One thing I've always appreciated about BVB's music is that it really gets the blood going. It fires you up and you feel like you can take on anything. Mix that with a few bong rips and a cup of coffee, and I could outfly an angel if I had wings. 2:38-3:11 makes me feel like I could fight a demon.

Looking back on old BVB is a little cringey but the songs still slap pretty hard and it just makes me so proud to see how they've evolved the past few years. Like, The Phantom Tomorrow has to be their best album and their new song Bleeders is epic. I love the direction they're taking. They're making moves like BMTH and MIW but people are sleeping on them these days. People need to return. They deserve it!
