This is probably one of the few animation channels where Derp is portrayed as an awesome main character

The fact that Derp is one of the main characters and everyone's fan favourite is absolutely heartwarming

Derp fights like a beast when fighting monsters but he's holding his anger towards other people, this just shows how nice derp is

I really love the part where those 2 giant ships are battling and Derp just sneaks onto one and steals its treasure.

Whoever did sound design for the green skeletons on the island, you have my full and undivided respect!

A friend sent me this to review as a story. I must say, this could be used as a textbook example of a good story. Everything from the subtle character details like Derp's walk to how Derp gradually progresses toward individuation is spot-on, masterful storytelling crammed perfectly into a 12-minute animation. Phenomenal work!

With the skeletons, ghosts, puzzle temples, map boards, outposts, forts, sloops, annoying crews stealing your treasure, and great music, this seems a lot like Sea of Thieves, and is just as amazing.

The team who made literally crammed a 2 hour movie into 12 minutes and made it more charming, entertaining, and filmograhpically superior to most modern pirate movies. This should get an award honestly, it's excellent. I sat still, beginning to end. They made an amazing story without words, and this is honestly something I will recommend to people. A+ is an understatement.

I love how the end scene it's called "Karma" not fighting them, just stole his ship

This is too underrated, the amount of hard work, time and dedication put into these animations for us to enjoy is just way too much These videos hardly get any likes or views anymore and its just so aggravating to see, if yall ever wanna take a break i will always be waiting for you, i wont ever leave this channel behind, you are all legendary People have said this a lot of times but From the bottom of my heart, Thank you Black Plasma Studios

I feel like Derp's braincells change proportionally to whatever challenge he's facing can't beat having a fish instead of a parrot though.

The amount of detail in these animations is amazing! The lighting, sound design and the cinematography were superb, not to mention the rest of the animation. Easily one of my favourite Derp animations; a great mixture of comedic and tense moments throughout, not to mention the rivalry between Derp and the other pirates and of course, Derp being the best pirate he can be. When I compare scenes like <a href="#" class="seekto" data-time="320">5:20</a> to some of BPS's old videos, I am always amazed at how far they've come to give us incredible effects that bring the story to life 👏 Also, I love how this story ended 😂. Derp totally deserved that treasure AND a new ship after what he went through.
