The fact is that Jeff probably wanted more air/ring time and WWE probably told him he'll be a jobber to young talent if he stays with them. He now gets headliner matches in AEW which is a plus for him and a plus for AEW because they gain a 'home name' wrestler. Him leaving doesn't affect WWE in the slightest. People are saying it's an 'L' but it really isn't lol. I'm happy Jeff gets to work with Matt again.
