They didnt mention in in the patch notes but Priest Elise and War Brann have also been changed to having no duplicates at start of game.

I like the idea of making highlander stuff less vulnerable to plague but nuking strategies that relied on drawing a lot/ destroying cards to make it activated feels kinda bad to me, those strats weren't inherently op and a risk was taken

Great patch design-wise… power creep and unfun card interactions (to play against) have been an issue for awhile. Only nerf that’s missing is crusader aura; that card enables token paladin to be an actual archetype

paladin is not an issue except at ranks where it's an issue because it's agressive, I think nerfing it rn doesn't really make sense

Hi all ! About wheel warlock, it seems totally fine, just go no duplicate, keep Reno, et cetera. I am a main (almost only) warlock, but wheel looks still fonctionnal and proper after a couple of games. Just choose 10 cards to replace the current duplicates, while going no dupli-Kate. You are still ..... invincible !! Edit : I know there is an extra turn but, for now, oddly I don't feel it.

This is a nightmare. They didn't bother nerfing plagues or any of the nonsense singleton decks? And the ONE deck I was having fun and some amount of success with aka Wheel warlock, they are nerfing into the ground. Thanks so much Blizzard. /S

Hahaha, loved reading this. Hating on reno decks when none of them is even close to being an s-tier deck is peak dumbness. At least you have to play a real deck now

@@Aynmann_Aynzelfall Half the time I won because nobody could handle all the giants I was putting down. They never made it to me playing the Wheel. Secondly, what did you call Reno and Brann warrior? I was seeing that all the time, and now there are not even plagues to counter, even if supposedly tendrils have been nerfed. Can you comprehend the insanity of nerfing towards helping board based, which will then be ruined when they play Reno which has no counter play?

It’s a shame, warlock had the most depth of strategies and they rly nuked it: wheel, pain, hand, excavate, and sludgelock. Most of the other classes have 1 playable deck if that.

Flash of Lightning’s biggest impact is that now it is harder to cycle off of the 1 mana discover a nature spell. This will really impact those one or two hands where you don’t draw enough burn in time

So I uninstalled the game with 160k+ dust on 3 regions, after 75 months of near continuous play. The weekly quest grind increase was the nail in the coffin. I also unsubscribed, farewell.

I don't understand the Threads nerf. DK has very few cards that clear the board that aren't situational (tomb traitor, needs plagues in deck) or mana heavy (grime walker+landscaping for 6 mana. It was cheap and requires exact calculations. But whatever, Time Warp is fucking dead so I'm happy.

You didn’t need to preform and “exact calculations” play threads along with crop rotation and you got yourself a 4+ damage board wipe

Depends on the size of the board and the order that each deathrattle triggers. If you go by "just play threads with this card and hope for the best", that's make or break during a turn.
