They can't be both arbiter AND be protected by 230. They're mutually exclusive.

The screenplay writers don't seem to be actual fans of the Halo franchise. They are writing some other diverse_rebellion show using the Halo label.

Yeah the same goes for Picard and RedLetterMedia . It's like RLM is the main show and Picard is the after thought. Picard truly is fucking awful but RLM reviews especially when Mike does his Picard impressions are hilarious.

The characters in this show often behave stupidly in their environment because the writers aren't science fiction oriented. As a result, chars don't have the knowledge and behavior of their times. The aliens also don't behave like Covenant in the franchise.

Right. They could just make a good product, but that's too much. Especially when your budget is ONLY 200 million!

And UKposts is encouraging this with the stupid dispute system and the removal of dislike button.

Yes, most corporations have goons that scour UKposts to abuse copyright laws in order to silence negative opinions on their IP.

It costs them almost nothing in terms of time to get a block, but costs AJS far more time to either fight it or re-render it. There is no reason for them to stop doing this, it is a good business tactic for a large company vs a small company. CBS can absorb the costs in terms of time/money far longer than AJS. Worst case scenario for CBS, the video goes back up after being pulled out of trending and costing AJS time and money. Google is the one acting as the arbitrator and it is a giant corporation itself. It makes money either way. There is almost no risk financially for CBS or Google to treat channels this way, even one as large AJS.

Claim bots don't have a thought process, they just claim whatever they feel fits the description of copyright infringement. In other words, I don't think CBS is deliberately trying to "silence" Joe just cause he's grifting over the show and fueling the fire of people irrationally angry at a *non canon* TV series.

I hope so, so joe can punch them in the face back I want a series 2 so he can keep fighting for all creators who get blocked for random reasons or just because they can’t take it.

Joe's score seems to be based entirely on the level of sparkle and action in movie and TV reviews, so a good bet is to either cut the score in half for an action genre, and subtract 2-4 points for dramatic works. He is overly nice to movies and TV, which makes the other two better sources of review than him, unfortunately.

I don't blame him, I wanted this show to be good too, and I still hope it turns around and becomes that. They just need to drop Kwan, drop her like an empty needler.

The problem is the show runners never played the game so they dont understand how the Covenant are a cult hell bent on destroying humanity. They are also egotistical and self infantilized 'adults' who never bothered to look up history or geopolitics to give a real context to how empires and rebel factions work or how the dynamic changes where there is an external threat.

It's made out in the first episode as if the covenant are a completely unknown force to the rebels including kwan but she seems pretty chill with the fact that there is a genocidal group of aliens that just murdered everyone she knows. It would honestly make more sense if the UNSC/Spartans killed all the rebels and then Vinsher took over in my opinion since it would allow the "UNSC Imperialists bad" and "Spartans are ruthless killing machines" plot points work much better

Halo 4 had a very good campaign. It’s probably my second favourite campaign behind halo 2. If you’re talking about multiplayer, it’s just a mediocre as reach’s. Halo 4 also introduced the juicy cool lore in the terminals.
