Wait till starship offers this from orbit 👌
@KsNewSpace2 роки тому
Dragon already offers it, it's just way way more expensive. The G-Forces on an orbital reentry are also much harder and the long during in zero-G will require harder training. I think suborbital space tourism will remain attractive for a long time. Maybe even SpaceX will do it on Starship. They kind of already announced it with Earth2Earth flights few years ago.
@joegoddard96612 роки тому
@@KsNewSpace true but it depends what you want out of It, if you want to go higher and stay longer, you’ve got to go faster to achieve, meaning you’re pulling more g’s and having a hotter reentry, but having even a couple hours in orbit would be incredible and worth much more so the price is understandable, this is basically a low level hop hence the couple minutes of zero g they just scraped the surface
@KsNewSpace2 роки тому
@@joegoddard9661 They could in theory do a massive reentry burn on a vertical launch to keep the g loads low. Starship in particular has enough capability. A trip to 1000+ km would be possible. So the view would be even better than from your normal LEO.
@joegoddard96612 роки тому
@@KsNewSpace but would this not also require a slower accent since I’m pretty sure the falcon pulls over 5G on take off? Would theoretically be possible I don’t doubt that but I feel like there’s a lot more ‘unnecessary’ fuel involved, think by that point you should stop spending your billions and put actual work into training if you want to preform a very high orbit or do anything more than just dipping your toes

@@KsNewSpace I feel this flight was to the edge of the atmosphere. Not that high compares to the iss. Still a magical experience very few people will ever get to see

No external cameras on this thing?

That woman is insufferable. I would've hated being her flight-mate 😳😤.

Guys! Let the woman chill!

Really interesting. You only have to worry about what it looks like through the windows. The rest of this production can just be believable without any CGI.

Are you joking or are you a joker?

Honestly, this'd still be worth a trip regardless of not entering orbit.

I LOVE how they’re nervously asking if the booster has landed. I’d have radioed back and said, I’m afraid the booster crashed violently and has killed many people on the ground. We have lost control of the ship 😂😂

Um bom filme de ficção científica, parabéns aos produtores..
