Thank you BTW for setting good example and wearing life jackets. Ego prevents 99% of boaters in this inlet from wearing them. Those kids were hauling the mail for sure and clearly grew up on the water and behind the wheel of a boat. Dang. Mad skills and bravery. The boys in the other Whaler handled the water like pros too. Nice to see young people doing something besides taking selfies.

Those kids are fearless and it looks like tons of fun. While the boy looks like he is a good swimmer, I believe it was risky to jump in the water without a PFD to swap the lines, in those conditions and in this particular situation: The boats are pitching strongly with sufficient force to knock you out, should they hit your head. One can go under real fast when unconscious.

The captain knows how to run a boat in heavy seas. Make no mistake, there is real and serious danger involved in what she's doing but if she stays focused she'll make it. She definitely has the goods.

These girls need their own channel! Too much fun. It's great to see kids being kids and having the time of their lives. Even minor issues won't slow these girls down. Blue Top Legend forever!

If blue top legend needs a mechanic ill do it for free to keep them out on the water that girl has serious skill. Love watching them rip it!

Reminds me of being young and driving boats in the Navy. Rough water just made it all more exciting. We knew there was danger, just didnt always know where it might come from. Part of the learning process.

I’ve been in a mechanical rescue situation with another large boat. One of their passengers decided to jump into the water, and nearly had his head crushed between our two boats. The fenders were out, and that gave him a fraction of a second to get out of the way. The fenders squished together just enough to keep the boats from colliding, but not enough to protect his coconut. Don’t compound a bad situation.

The great thing about boating is that you don't need a million- dollar boat to enjoy it. Thanks for sharing.

Absolutely love how they're always just having fun! Legends are not made by being handed top place. True legends always fall from the top, however, what makes them a legend is watching them never quit. I hope I'm still watching these girls when they're in their 30's.

I had a 13 foot Boston Whaler and I loved that little boat. It had a 20hp on it when I first got it but I swapped in a 50hp and it was really fun.

That captain has some great skills...even the old sharks would think twice going out with such a small boat. 👏👏👏 Excellent for watching and learning how to manage big waves. Who would thought that small 50hp Yamaha can push that hard.

I'm not all that worried about the guy without a jacket, he seems capable enough, and there were three boats with multiple people to help out if something happened.

That young lady really loves the inlet. She’s always smiling and is a great captain!

That captain does a great job of reading the waves to adjust throttle. On the way in, you see she's riding the backs of the waves, pacing the waves. On the way out, she's running faster to skip from wave top to wave top to avoid ploughing down in between oncoming waves.

Let' GO Legends. Always a good time and they know their boat..

Boston whaler is a beast of a boat, had a 17 footer and it had a hole in her center from getting the gun cut off, it was an X coast guard boat, but we fixed the fiber glass and had her for years, just a small 2 stroke 60 hp Mercury 😁👍🇺🇸🥳🍺❤️

I just started watching your vids and that gal at the helm of BT LEGEND is something else! I never thought I'd see them in trouble. My hubby caught a look with me and said "Is this a loop cuz we just saw that same boat already". I had to tell him "we'll see those girls 2-3 more X, that's what they do". "Go zipping by, out the inlet. Turn around & fly that little blue top legend back in"! Then do it again, told him "they're not headed into the ocean, they're riding the inlet & tearing it up". That's a shame somebody tried to take it. And as mentioned it suffered trouble after. Great content, & I like how you give a description for each type, engine power, speed, name, etc... I have no idea other than "ohhh that's cool, or wow huge yacht... LOL😂 *subscribed

Usually I'm harder, but there were 3 boats, he looked to be a strong swimmer, no alcohol.....so not concerned......

"What do you guys think about the guy in the water with no life jacket" I think its hard to swim with a life jacket on. It's a survival tool, and he's not trying to survive. He had it on when it counted, i.e. when they're hitting the inlet hard and there's a chance that something could go wrong. He's got three boats around him. Not a problem I'd say.

Those girls REALLY know how to have fun! Full send ALMOST 100% of the time! ...you know,if their boat has issues.

Blue top guys are my new best :) They can drive my boats any day 👍 Yamaha intermittent stall/cylinder drop, usually during moist air situations. From most common, Contamination (salt) in the kill switch circuit or kill button at engine front if fitted, shorting (salt contamination) of Over heat circuit, Cdi, stator pack earths and CDI wiring contamination. Kill switch circuit is the most common. The cdi sensor is fairly sensitive to ground leaks and will fall back to limp mode, or engine kill mode. Mine used to fall back to limp mode (One cylinder). Pull the flywheel, wash down the stator pack and clean/refit all earths (black looking color on the alloy under the contacts), Pull the CDI pack and wash clean, electrical grease on the connector plugs.. And pull any stop switch circuits and inspect the switch contacts for salt contamination.. Sometimes the rubber/spring loading that keeps the stop contacts separated perish over time closing the gap and it only needs a little bit of moisture to bridge the contacts. Wanna see you legends back out on the water and going hard. Pitty you live in the the US, keys to my jet are sitting on the table waiting for ya any day you wanna go sick in the skinny water and rapids :) P.S, I Owned a twin carb 30 HP version of that OB, and now have a 40HP, Yamaha are best :P

Mercury needs to step it up and get them a outboard! Blue legend deserves history's fastest ;)

She's entertaining to watch. Glad she knows she's legendary. Unlike red top who doesn't have any idea tons of people are watching him. She comes out just for us killing it and putting on a show. Love it. How her repairs don't slow her down too much. Absolutely entertaining to watch.

I've been boating my entire life and had no idea people freaked out so much about life jackets. Wow! Anywho, no big deal with the kid. I did the same thing once at about the same age when we had some problems with a little 2-stroke outboard. If you grow up in places like this, you know what you're doing. It's a lifestyle, really. Kids are pretty independent in beach towns, at least the one I grew up in. At the time, I could probably walk across the six-mile-wide bay with no chart just because I knew where all the shallows were.

That motor has been through lots of brutal RPM changes between being airborne and landing back in the water. How ironic that it was finally taken down by some criminal submerging it. It survived many battles only to be mortally wounded while it was sleeping peacefully.

As long as BTL guy is an advanced ocean swimmer, like myself, I totally approve. If you need to manuever quickly while in the water, then no life jacket is definitely the way to go. I have been in similar situations.
