To be fair, a good number of elite wrestlers could likely do this, it’s just not the standard route to take. Not diminishing Cejudo’s amazing feat, just saying. For example, Even Kyle Dake, who was a 4x NCAA champion, took 5 years after college to qualify for his first US World's team and 8 years post-graduation to make his first olympic team. He kept losing to Jordan Burroughs in qualifying until he finally won. Yes, samboist are very complete grapplers, since they cross-train in judo and wrestling, henry always shit on judo and bjj which is funny because he has no offensive bjj, mediocre top control and most of the his takedowns are inside leg trips, maybe paying attention to different grappling styles may help him to be a top mma grappler.
