I am having a real problem with the figure 8 spin. I do not think I am turning the staff correctly. Even in your slow motion mode you give here I can grasp the manner in which to spin the staff. I have tried pausing the demonstration periodically throughout the demonstration but can not understand how it is spun. Do you have anyway to help me out with this?

@@pasquinilli Well i first bought jo about 5 months ago and have been learning spinning and strikes and i think it is super cool. I have only 2 days of experience with bo but it already feels really nice. Need to practice more so i can make an opinion which i like more. Bo need much more space and i dont really have that at home.. need to spin it outside, but now its possible when summer came finally. All good for you from Finland. I will keep watching your videos. You are great inspire for many ♥️

I've been going through a tough time lately, with college and expenses. It's been hard to consistently. I'm so glad I found an at home and workout I can do around the house or outside involving martial arts

I learned tae kwon do from a korean friend and i practiced for a long time in prison kicking and blocking and blocks and punches and the other day i told my sister i could handle 3 guys with knives as long as i had a stick to keep distance first and to work my way out of the circle second then to either run or start breaking arms and jaws with a staff. But i thought huh theres got to be forms to learn with the staff and was very glad to find your video. Proper form and practice helps alot in a fight. Not using form but having the reflex memory. My reflexes are lightning fast when im mad or my back against a wall
