I just want to say as an African-American K-pop fan you boa are truly the definition of queen K-pop you have worked your way hard to get to where you are today. There have been many others who have as well, but have been unfortunately been placed in a situation of hate and cruel-Ness targeted towards them from people who are jealous or bored with their life. so I say boa please don’t listen to those haters. Because they clearly don’t understand that you paved the way for their their favorite K-pop artists to be where they are today as well. I personally major in performing arts, and I hope to one day be a singer on Broadway, and I believe that you are one of the reasons why I have the courage to explore that journey to use my voice and sing without any sense of insecurity or doubt,. you are truly an inspiration to why I have the voice I have today, so I truly appreciate you and I just want you to know that you are appreciated and loved by many. Obviously those who complain that this work is boring have no idea about the art of simplicity. They are so used to fancy box settings, colorful lighting, fast switch between scenes, blasting high notes, tirades of rap verses in girl group boy group songs that they lose the ability to appreciate any work without heavy production. If you are not a fan of this kinda thing, mind you that BoA has a whole lotta SMP style works out there. Give Woman, Better, Forgive Me a watch. None of them would disappoint you. Emptiness is for those who understand the definition of the title 'emptiness', who has the intelligence to figure out what are beyond those semi-static visual elements, and those who captures the subtle beat change that makes the song stand out from all those afrobeat tracks. BoA is showing the whole world that K-pop isn't always about high cost and heavy production. Real artists like BoA shines as always no matter how much budget they get. Other idol artists could only cry when the investment is gone because they would have literally nothing to show the audiences. Meanwhile BoA is still capable of feeding her fans with a song written, arranged, and recorded by herself after 24 yrs into her career. The true Queen she is👸💛

I haven't seen any complaints about it being boring, but if there are they are clearly some uneducated Kpop noob haters who don't realise that there wouldn't even be Kpop or "their faves" without BoA. 😂 BoA was my first Kpop artist at her debut (I was only 9 myself) and thanks to her my entire collection of music built over the years mainly Kpop and Jpop has BoA as the centre piece. BoA is the only soloist (strong emphasis on the solo, BoA knows and isn't the best vocalist and never has tried to be but put her with any group/number of groups and she'll totally eclipse the entire stage presence. ❤ It's just like dammnn you've still got it so hard and amazing. She eats you up, pun intended. 😍) And as you say BoA doesn't release often (sadly, but when she does it's always so fresh, so relevant and so amazing as I don't know any artist who can be active for so long and yet never ever get boring!) She also has probably produced for, trained, or majorly influenced all other Kpop artists out there. Disrespecting or insulting BoA is like Kpop blasphemy! Literally, I remember years and years ago Jessica Ho (or more like Jessica Who?) disrespected BoA as a fellow solo female artist on air and well she basically flushed her career down the drain. 😂 Idol artists are all busy paying back all the debt invested into them and their 5+ years training and their slave contracts to do so. BoA has artistic freedom, holds company shares, produces, grows, trains others, decides when and what and has big pull and impact in the industry all the time and drops music that's all her own start to finish. She doesn't need to for anyone but herself, her passion and her fans and influence are anything but empty. ❤❤❤ BoAjjang!

The only emptiness BoA has ever given me is my bank account! ❤ Over 20 years ive grown up with BoA, taking my mum's debit card when i was too young to have one myself to purchase the limited 2 CD+DVD editions of her Japanese albums i still have today. ❤ Thank you BoA for yet another fresh, amazing song drop! ❤️ I always feel old (im a few years younger than BoA) because of all the churning of artists and groups over the years but BoA I can always rely on to keep bringing it! Never stop being amazing, my life would be empty without you in it. I've literally known BoA longer than nearly everyone else in my life. 😅❤ X

Probably not the most popular opinions but if I was to narrow it down to my two favourite albums based on their entire track listings I'd say Outgrow and Love & Honesty personally. Yourself? xD

언니 콘서트 빠짐없이 다녔던 20년넘은 팬이에요 인스타 게시글 모두 삭제한거 보고 너무놀라고 걱정돼서 여기라도 글 남겨요 사람들이 너무쉽게 말을 뱉고, 상처줘놓고 시간이 지나면 결과에는 나몰라라하죠? 야속하기도하고 원망스러울수도 자책할수도 있을거에요 저도 그렇거든요 지들이 뭔데. 대중이란 이름아래 그토록 상처를 주는지.. 근데 언니 20년넘게 달려왔잖아요 본인의 의지가 없으면 절대 할 수 없는거잖아. 사회생활해보니 더더욱 알겠어요 늘 평가받고 노력하는게 절대 당연한게 아닌데...완벽해야한다는 강박아래 이사람 혼자서 참 많이 견디고 외로웠겠구나... 부디 혼자 힘들어하지 말고 누구라도 같이 지내면서 실컷 욕도하고 울기도하고 배우고싶었던거있음 그것도 해보고 그래봐요 누구보다 당신이 소중하고 사랑하고 존경하고 안쓰러워하는 팬 중 한명이...

지금이야 케이팝 위상이 올라가서 오리콘, 빌보드 차트인 하는 게 '와, 대단하네~!' 정도로 평가되지만 그 당시 보아가 일본에서 오리콘 차트 1위, 2위 했을 땐 9시 뉴스에 보도되고 그랬어요. 많은 소속사에서 일본 음악 시장의 문을 꾸준히 두드렸지만 매번 실패했었는데, 그런 일본에서 '아시아의 별'이란 타이틀 달고, 솔로 콘서트에 정상급 가수들만 출연하는 홍백가합전 연마다 출연하는 등 수많은 기록을 남겼어요. 케이팝 후배들에게 일본 진출의 길을 열어준 사람이라 생각됩니다! 레전드 맞고, 그런 위치에서도 꾸준히 음악 활동 열심히 한다는 게 참 멋있는 사람인 것 같아요~!!! 보아님 응원합니다~!!!!!

꾸준히 활동해줘서 너무 고마움 ㅠㅠ팬으로서 응원하는 가수가 기복없이 꾸준하게 노래내주는게 제일 큰 행복임.. 제일 어려운건데 보아는 늘 해냄 ㅠㅠ 초딩 때 부터 응원하던 아티스트가 지금도 여전히 자기관리잘하고 실력은 말해뭐해.. 멘탈도 강하고 배울 점이 많은 사람임 권보아 최고💛

보아언니... 보아언니는 우리 점핑이들 뿐만아니라 후배가수들에게도 좋은 귀감이 되어주고 또한 보아언니 노래를듣고 많은 위로를 받았어요...지금 현재도 그렇고 언니... 언니를 말린다는건 제 욕심일수있지만... 언니가 앞으로도 쭉 활동하는 모습을 보고싶어요ㅠㅠ 언니가없는... 가요계... 언니가없는... 연예계는 있을수없으니까요ㅠ
