This has to be the best value for money family weekender available. It fits in a sub 10m berth too, so cheap mooring. I might have to buy one.

It all looks shiny and pretty in the showroom, and that luster soon fades and the faults soon become apparent, but if you got a ton of money to throw away on a new toy then go for it. Older gently used boats are probably a better deal for the cost conscious.

Thank you for bringing us such a great UKposts video. This Beneteau Antares 9 is the latest version, but I can't see any obvious changes from the previous version. Its direct competitor should be the Jeanneau Merry Fisher 895 Series 2 from the same group. Compared to the optimization of its competitors, such performance may be a bit passive.

I was told the big change is in the hull and transom. Deeper v, airstep and more power full engine options.

I know what you mean, they are more comfortable than they look. However, a few loose cushions would do no harm.
