The Lomachenko vs. Lopez telecast begins at 10 p.m. ET/7 p.m. PT and airs on ESPN and ESPN Deportes.
The 10-round junior welterweight co-main features former world title challenger Alex Saucedo against unbeaten contender Arnold Barboza Jr.
In the eight-round ESPN-televised opener, super middleweight knockout sensation Edgar Berlanga tests his perfect record against veteran Lanell Bellows. Berlanga (14-0, 14 KOs) has won all 14 of his professional fights by first-round stoppage.

Yeah, he's seen enough to know when a young'n is most likely in over his head. Teo has the physical gifts and the confidence, but there's just so much muscle memory that goes into what Loma does. I don't know if this helps but if you have ESPN+ the event is on the streaming schedule & I asked under the upload *blood sweat & tears: loma vs lopez part 1* if it would be on both ESPN & ESPN+ because I missed villa vs navarrete bc only the undercard streamed on ESPN+. I don't have ESPN channels in my TV package so I wonder if it would stream for everyone else.

Possibly. I think that whether this goes the distance or gets stopped depends on how discouraged Teo gets when things start moving into Loma's favor and Loma starts picking up the volume. Haney is still really young. Even younger than Lopez. He's got time, and to be honest, I think incremental steps up the ladder are better for him than to fight an all-timer like Loma this soon. Arum is such a hot and cold promoter, on one hand he came back from the virus with the worst possible gimme fights imaginable but then he makes his biggest fights non ppv unlike his competitor al Haymon who while making some good fights thinks that unproven yet popular fighters should be $75 for PPV even though we're in a pandemic and people are strapped for cash.

Teofimo Lopez certainly has the physical tools and confidence to "shake up the world." But I think that this will instead be one of Lomachenko's career-defining signature wins before he inevitably hits the physical cliff. (Check out my Loma vs Teo preview vid on my channel.. Its GOOD! Lol)

If Teofimo was the type to use his body and physicality, I would say that he might rough Lomachenko up and make him look old(er). But he's not that type of fighter. @Monkey Monkey haha Nothing you say is incorrect. However, you’ve left some things out like: Loma won three belts in the fewest professional fights ever. He had one of the longest and most phenomenal amateur careers in the history of boxing with two gold medals. The one loss was a very questionable decision which he redeemed in a later fight. No question it will be a good fight though. Looking forward to it.😃
