Bob hopes that he's just being emotional in the announcement and that it was just a mistake. Bob is going to speak with Shakur on Thursday to try to talk him out of it. Good interview. But if Shakur was greatly confident of his skills he would have engaged De Los Santos instead of running, ducking, and hopping around, afraid to punch, in fear of being countered and knocked out. No fighter can be great if they will always freeze up like that against a heavy puncher. He blew it for himself that night.

With that mindset I see what type of fighter you’re and I’m sure I can beat your ass. I’ve done tons of boxing in my life and will turn pro soon and hopefully do well. Styles make fights. Shakur has his style and Santos had his. So why would either of them change? It’s a good thing you aren’t in any boxers corners because they’d lose every fight listening to you.

@@AuthenticOrigins styles make fights. If someone want a to be defensive minded and get hit less….thats boxing not running. You can’t just say boxing is sitting there throwing punches back and forward….that doesn’t make sense and your knowledge of the sport is flawed. It’s “hit and not get hit and avoid going to sleep”. There’s a lot of black champs right now who’s making millions so your point is obsolete. Because they sell out arenas. Plus….theres a reason Mexicans don’t hold a lot of the world class belts right now and blacks and other races are undisputed. And that’s because they don’t fight like Mexicans. But I digress.

Most people miss it but the secret to retiring comfortably is finding a way to make returns while your money works for you. My Dad, as i remember started saving for retirement quite late but I know he was making more than 10k returns from his investments monthly and it was completely passive.

Shakur should have taken Devin’s offer of 25% for all the belts. If he had you wouldn't have Lima v Kam or Navette. All roads would lead to shakur at 135 if he had become Undisputed.

Stevenson and Haney don’t sell. that means the purse would have been 30 mil... we all know neither fighter is worth that.. Shakur never ducked Haney he just rejected 25% and went the mandatory route which would've lead to a purse bid if agreement isnt reached between both parties, while Frank accepted all offers and a purse bid was avoided but after the contract was sent he's now quiet. To look good he's now claiming that the split wasn't right, so why didn't he got to purse bid then?He would definitely earn less than what he was offered going to purse bid while Shakur would've earned way more than what Haney was offering if it went to purse bid, but Haney vacated the belt instead of letting it go to purse bid.

This generation of fighters (especially Americans) have one foot out the door from the start because they think going out with your 0 intact matters more than putting together a resume. You have guys talking retirement in their 20s and even many of the p4p ranked fighters are barely active. One of the few throwbacks is Canelo who stays active and fought more champs than anyone yet he gets the most hate because they think he's supposed to fight everyone who begs for a payday from 147 to 175.

Shakur is watching everyone around him getting rich and he doesnt understand its his own fault. Belt or not you cant expect a good payday if you fight him. In his defense, before the Edwin fight he finished 2/4 of his previous opponents was in very entertaining fight with Valdez and battered Robson. There's a reason why the hype was around him and why that last fight was such a let down

If Fury even shows up on the 18th I would be surprised if that eye holds up against Usyk. An injury like that doesn't fully heal in two months especially in someone who is in his mid to late 30s. I look for another postponement and eventual cancellation wherein Usyk will fight Zhang or Hrgovic. Maybe even Parker.

Probably because the sport is gutted! Every sanctioning body should only have one option, 1 vs 2, winner gets the champion. 3 vs 4, 5vs 6 , 7vs 8 etc etc, u don’t fight, ur off the list, period, if the money isn’t there it’s cause u aren’t worth it, money preventing fights from being made! 🤮 losses aren’t a career killing event.
