I didn't catch on to it years ago because I wasn't looking for it. Lol. That is the way they did things in the music business back then and now. Bobby Brown was nowhere to be found so they asked Ralph to do it. (& Ralph saved the day!!!) 😉❤

Then I discovered this video and song yesterday and I was blown away to say the least. This guy was slim, happy, lookin real fly and got moves for days. In this video he seems like a highely functional and healthy cocaine enthusiast, as most good artists are. Maybe it was Whitney who dragged him down? It's a pity we associate Bobby Brown with drugs, and we forget about what a great artist and entertainer he was. I hope he is remembered for the great entertainer he is!

Bobby WAS a great artist, like many who have had substance abuse problems. I think that it was just a shame that he dragged Whitney down along with him....but, that's love. What a waste of great talents! God bless their souls. Always keep listening, and tell your children!

people always try to blame Bobby for Whitney getting hooked on drugs and not the case. Her own brother confessed to being the one who turned her out. Bobby's drugs of choice was cocaine and alcohol. I've always wondered if he was the pheen why is he still alive? Bobby made some bad choices but he is still human and whose to say he didn't try to help Whitney and Bobbi Kristina? Frankly I like him as an entertainer and artist, seems like a nice person. Who am I to judge him.
@fomalhauto7 років тому
He suffered from Bipolar, and there was an article of him discussing about it. He was diagnosed ADHD before that. It is common for people with ADHD and/or Bipolar to self medicate with drugs and/or alcohol.

raveninneverland - I have never heard that. I feel bad for Bobby because I think a lot of lies were told him regarding his relationship with Whitney. Since Whitney was the bigger star and known as the "good girl" everyone believed whatever she said. The real truth is somewhere in the middle.

No doubt Bobby definitely had it going on. Gotta give a shout out & mad respect to Babyface & L.A. Reid too! Especially Face he deserves a lot of credit for writing & producing the majority of this album, "Don't Be Cruel" for Bobby. Face wrote so many songs for other artists & for us who grew up back in the day as R&B music fans. Which I'm willing to bet those songs were a good part of your childhood soundtrack along with Jam & Lewis, Teddy, Prince & Quincy, who were the pinnacles of R&B/Soul/& mainstream Pop music altogether. Just saying...

I was born in 1994 and I love music from the entire 20th century from the 1900s to the 1990s. When it comes to music, I live by the saying, "Variety is the spice of life." I don't have anything against today's music. I mean, I like Bruno Mars and Imagine Dragons. However, I will be honest about one thing. While I like hip hop and rap as much as the next person, I despise music that involves twerking or anything related to such dancing, such as this song for example. ukposts.info/have/v-deo/ZXlejY9sp2am0mw.html
