Thanks to the developers I was given exclusive gameplay footage to share with you guys! Please note that this game is completely unrelated to the other Bodycam FPS game named "Unrecord". "BODYCAM" is an FPS multiplayer game while "Unrecord" will be a single player FPS game.

Here's an idea. How about someone makes a horror bodycam game with these types of graphics instead? That would sell like hot cakes.

Now imagine a zombies mode in this style of FPS

I like how the game play is aggressive, glad to see it doesn't completely cater to camping.

One thing I would love to see in games like this, is the added benefit to finish off someone. Let's say, thorax and headboxes are instant kills. But if you spray someone in the legs, or stomach etc, they would have a bleed out time when they fall to the ground and they could still shoot back with their weapons in that time period. That could give players the ability to properly finish off each other ("confirm your kill"). For gameplays sake, you could lets say hold down the spacebar to pass the bleed out period and get back to the game faster (if there are respawns). Basically just like the "request medic" period in Battlefield games, but you could still use your guns. Maybe this could prove to be too gory by modern standards, but I think alot of these "realistic" shooter games miss the "confirm kill", where you put a couple of more bullets in your enemy. This would give a lot more realism and immersion imo, but only assuming the hitboxes work correctly, because we don't want someone shooting back, once a 12 gauge already met their forehead. In the video we see that once they fell to the ground that means they are dead. So there are basically no benefits to "confirm the kill" by the looks of it. I really think that my idea could potentially work, although there may be a reason why no game is doing it. I am not sure, but if I remember correctly, in a COD game there is a mechanic what I just described. The only reason that does not really add to the immersion, is because the game is already very arcadey. But in realistic games, I think this could work.

Having good ragdoll physics for when people are shot and killed is HUGE when trying to make something feel real and immersive, and this game does that shit very well; the one big question I have about this game - and Unrecord as well - is how is the camera system going to work? Instead of it being a static camera, which makes it feel like a game as opposed to real life, the cameras in both of these games are dynamic and constantly moving; are they pre-programmed to do that or is the player somehow controlling that?

Looks great! Would love to test and make content for this game!

A few thoughts: - No body cam in the world has those round edges - It would be nice if the overlay of actual body cams with time date, manufacturer (instead of axon maybe something else). - It feels more like a VR game (very floaty) - The animations are too wobbly and the movement speed is too high (for a tactical shooter) - The aim-system definitely got improved (my biggest critique previously)

Unrecord is special because it confused the hell out of people because it genuinely looks like footage and not a game, this still looks like a game, looks fun though

Great that this is so nervous, I like that, of course with a small level like this it cannot be otherwise but, I love the result!

this looks amazing, it would be great if say u had to earn money to buy guns and equipment but if u die during a match you get nothing, this would slow the game play and make it more tense, my only concern is there are going to be 30s matches with lots of leroy jenkins moments. Just my thoughts tho, i will be checking this out for sure.

Looks promising. It would add more realism if you added the sound of footsteps, breathing, weapon loading, scraping clothes, etc.

Looks really cool but was super disappointed to find out it was just a TDM FPS rather than a singleplayer or co-op tactical shooter. Wish the devs the best but I'll be waiting for Unrecord for my fix, I guess.

the rag doll doesn’t look bad, although it could be better to remove the animation and just turn on the rag doll, and it wouldn’t be bad to add interactivity of physical objects to the map and add a little destructible objects and the game would be a hit.

Who runs straight tilting their head back and forth? Try that sometime and see how it works out for you. Seems gimmicky but hey, I hope they make a great game that proves me wrong.

if you expect this to be a next gen competitive shooter of any sorts... you should overthink your design choice of how the gun moves. The hand moves in an unnatural way and for anyone understanding weapons it will be hard to play, as they'll wait for proper sight alignment. Coming from playing alot of VR lately, in a CQB situation sight alignment doesnt matter as much as bullets cant stray too far, although if your alignment is off you won't hit the broadside of a barn.

It doesn't even deliver the feeling of a bodycam, it just looks like a standard FPS with a fisheye lens effect. There's a lot absent here that could make it feel more authentic

So many people asking if this is VR or not. It certainly imitates VR because the hands/weapon move freely compared to other flat-screen games where the weapon is glued to the player's chest. Nothing new if you're a VR player where people can actually manipulate the gun around and actually aim instead of just pointing at a target with mouse and keyboard. In VR, you have to manually reload weapons, not just pressing a button.

Remove camera jitter and i will buy

melee kills? weapon costumisation? anti cheat? I really like how the teamspeak sounds ingame!
