Its not that they don't believe the Bible is true, its that they don't UNDERSTAND the Bible. The church system is yet carnal and thats why there are so many divisions. This is what the world needs, the truth. Christ makes the blind to see, the deaf to hear and the dumb to speak. He raises the dead to life. We go from death to life, carnally minded to spiritually minded. To be carnally minded is death. To be spiritually minded is life and peace. Having Christ IN us is life changing and the Bible becomes a whole new book and we become a whole new creation. We cannot eat from the Lord's table and the table of devils. God is love and when we understand the scriptures we will have virtually no true fellowship apart from our fellowship with the Father and Jesus Christ because we then walk in truth and are despised and rejected by men. I watch Joel and a slew of other pastors on this subject. I think it's important to come to the position of realizing that as we get closer to the events things will become clearer and we'll understand more. I disagree with parts of what Joel teaches, but also believe there's good reason to think the AC will be from Turkey. As as side note, understanding other prophetic and eschatological books in the Bible are necessary to get the whole picture. This is where the rapture teaching comes in. I've heard Joel say that while he's not a pre rapture believer, he's giving room for mid rapture. I'm paraphrasing, the point being, Joel believes in the rapture. The question then is not "Where in Revelation does it teach about a rapture?" But "When does the rapture happen?"

@@winniecash1654 I think everyone but preterists believe in the rapture, just not the pre-trib part. I agree that it takes the whole body of prophesy to get the picture. Daniel states that after the abomination of desolation there will be great tribulation and then there will be a rescue of the ones written in the Lamb's book of life.

@@stephenszucs8439 I go back and forth between pre and mid. I think it's at the 5th seal, with the great earthquake. Post doesn't make sense because why would we make a big u-turn in the sky? (And also what do we make of our Lord's statement about coming back to take us to the Father's house?! Why would He say that if He isn't going to do it?) Also, the 2nd coming is a series of events, as Joel states. Before Jesus goes to Jerusalem, He's in Bozra fighting for the Jews in hiding, and He rescues them there. So, would we meet with Him there, or only when He shows up at Armageddon? I don't know if you heard Joel speak about this but I'm sure you can find it at his channel. I don't agree with those who say Christians want an out of persecution and therefore they believe in the rapture. And then when it doesn't happen they'll lose faith. I'm older and I know without a doubt 2 things: if a person loves the Lord, while their faith may weaken or be tried, it is God Himself who keeps us. And 2, persecution while difficult, strengthens and proves faith. If there is no pre trib rapture, we'll get through it. If it happens post, it won't matter because we'll be seeing Jesus just the same.

(After the rapture of the "church" saints) Most of whom would be martyred throughout the tribulation. There would therefore be some believers in Babylon when the angel makes this pronouncement to leave.

It doesn't say that would happen BeFORE the time of Jacob's troubles. In fact, Paul reassures his readers that that day WILL NOT COME before the Antichrist is revealed. The Antichrist will be revealed by the Abomination of Desolation which happens about 3 years after Pre-tribbers believe they will be raptured.
