In this episode I set out into the neighboring woods to procure wood for a bow drill kit, with only my knife and 3 foot of cordage, This is the level three survival fire challenge, can I make fire happen again???

Never give up congratulations I've never been able to accomplish a bow drill fire in all my life many attempts and but all fails seen it done many times but never have I been able to get it done

Its a challenge indeed, much respect to anyone who tries and hopes for their success, i was bummed to have failed the three attempts but it does fuel my 🔥 to try till it happens, I was very surprised the kit I retrieved didn't give an ember the first try, but that's one thing for certain, there's many unknown variables at play when trying the friction fire. Thanks again!

This is the one that worries me. Lol I've done 1 match and flint and steel. Never even attempted a bow drill. I'm excited to see what I can do!

Same here! Be patient for sure! I suggest doing some research on wood, I know good cedar always seemed to work best, though, it let me down on this attempt or more likely, I let it down lol. Have you posted any videos of the first two? Id love to check them out!
