I was born in Kanawha County (Charleston), West Virginia. There have been many sightings of Bigfoot in Kanawha County. This was a great story. I have never known Nance to sensationalize about Bigfoot sightings!

As an old retired cop I can say with all seriousness that humor is sometimes all that you have to get through a traumatic situation. I have seen things that people have done to others that would overload my mind if not for ‘cop humor’. It’s just one of our safety valves that God has given us to mentally survive some of the things that we either see or go through in life. I also have been on the wrong end of a Bigfoot charge when I was 16 years old. That memory is still just as strong now that I’m 65 as it was the day after it happened. So please Nance, don’t lose your sense of humor. It’s one of the many Gifts Jesus has given you, (like being an awesome story telling troubadour). These stories have actually helped me to process the trauma of my experience so I sincerely thank you for all of the time and effort you put into your channel for our benefit.

Thank everyone for their prayers this week. I miss my sister but I'm able to be here to listen to buckeye bigfoot. I do my best to never miss any buckeye bigfoot. It's been a few years since my encounter I hope I would not be afraid like I was when I had my last encounter again thank you for the encounters. Buckeye bigfoot is my favorite.

Nance i have to say you handled the last paragraph WAAAAY better than i would have. I understand everyone looks at things differently and we were not in his shoes but this channel quickly became my favorite because of the way you bring out the stories and the wonderful way that you pass on the details to all of us. Im a combat vet and have had an extremely interesting life. I have found that anyone that can find humor when they can will generally get thru most things life throws their way. Just because you found the humor doesnt mean you cannot learn from the situation. He just seems to be wound too tight in my humble opinion. Please keep doing what you do and do it as often as you can or want to do it, your sasquad will be here with smiles on our faces. Thanks for everything

I'm not so sure I'd agree with the notion that Nance's work has a negative impact on the topic. To that, we'll just have to agree to disagree. Their reported situational awareness is generally of the chart regarding sensitivity of another's presence. Nance, sometimes it is therapeutic to have a laugh at what makes you cry. I've encountered Sasquatch a few times myself, and the best way to power through it is to find the humor in it. I love the fabled and storied Sasquatch Valley.

Dear Will, thank you for sending in your encounter to Nance, God bless you 🙏but for what its worth, if Nance or any of these channels had a thumbnail with some scary freaky looking thing, I would have swept on by., but the thumbnail along with the titles were exactly what encouraged me to click on in. Then after that, I learned about these strange and mysterious creatures that are out there, inflicting so much ptsd, pain, suffering and sometimes incredibly awesome moments in time. Creatures that aren't supposed to exist in our realm, but they do and folk are running into them and trying to exist in a world after their encounter that feels so strange and limitless with possibilities. A world where one has to accept that maybe we're not the be all and end all, we're sharing our space with creatures far more capable than us when you remove our modern conveniences. The point being, channels like Nance s give us mortals a safe space to allow us to ponder on the weird and strange! Iv never found any of them, or at least the ones that I tune into, to be dismissive, condescending or sensationalist towards the subject. They're simply attempting to convey one's story in a more fluid fashion.. Story telling at its best, the way we all communicated before all those plastic boxes took over, attempting to dumb us down and drowning out the fireside "scéal" of our history and the trials and tribulations of our ancestors. I'm truly glad that I stumbled into this strange world, and I don't need to see it to believe it. Here in Ireland it's all about the little people. I myself have never seen one of these mysterious beings but you can bet your last buck that I wouldn't walk into a fairy ring or any of these places that have history, and go about ripping things down or messing around, I'm always respectful when I walk through another's home turf 😊 Anyways, Sláinte mó chara 🙏❤️

Love humor in you stories

In many of the stories you read, those who submitted them had their experience many, many years earlier. They've had time to process/digest it a bit more. Perhaps Will still needs that time as well. The story was riveting. Very detailed. Also, very terrifying. I emphasize with Will. Will, if you read the comments know we aren't criticizing you. We are here because we do take it seriously. As does Nance.

"SENSATIONALIZING"?!? I dont think so... If you dont like how she does things, move on.. She does not make fun of anyone or make light of any experience... Perhaps Will is a bit extra sensitive since his experience.. No, i am not minimizing or making light of or down-playing his experience. It is obvious he was extremely traumatized, which i think many others - including myself - would have been. It can be traumatizing enough to some to just see one, let alone watch what played out infront of him that day. Im just saying that maybe it is still very "fresh" for him and still very traumatic.. Love ya, Nance! Wish i could come to Gatlingburg..Oh! ..and Will?? for you to be close enough, or just with your "glasses" (bi-nocs?), to be able to see so much detail? WOW.. that would definitely contribute to a higher level of trauma. .. no judgement, condescension or ridicule here. Glad you came out safe.

Dear Will, I’m so sorry this experience traumatized you so badly. If I had witnessed the scenario you did, I may have had a similar reaction to someone occasionally joking about it. My sightings and numerous experiences with Bigfoot in my area were frightening, but did not terrorize me the same way. And I love West Virginia. It has a special place in my heart. Ok. That being said- dude, LIGHTEN UP!!! Nance has never, once, sensationalized Bigfoot sightings, or “made fun” of anyone! I would never have sent her my experiences if she were like that. She treats all writers of encounters with great respect, and then adds a light, funny and endearing touch at the end, often at the beginning of the videos. Dear Nance, Keep it up! This subject needs as much joy as it does seriousness. I really missed Bigfoot grunting at the end of this video, although I understand why you wouldn’t tonight!
