This Technique is very effective. I just trained for 1 Month and my coach send me to national Championship tournament and I was totally unprepared. My first fight was with an International player and he was very dangerous Fighter. In the fight I used footwork and I used my arms. Just Like in this video I did it in the ring and my opponent couldn't hit me 1 punch but in the 3rd round I loss my stamina so I Took punches and I lost the round but I'll take my revenge soon. In my country we don't have smart coaches. Thanks for the technique Sir.

I love long guard . I'm a 6ft 2 middle waight to cruiser . I mostly train MMA but a boxing focus style. The long guard is my default . I'm slightly more bladed than this guy so the right stays closer and the left is like a wall of jab and block . I only square off with a half step to fire big hooks . If they do close I bone wall with my forearms then post back to long guard . Everyone wants to peakaboo these days but if you have long arms you will do better fighting like Lenox than fighting like Tyson .
@mortalkomment80282 роки тому
Exactly. But imagine you get an even taller opponent who is good. You may have to change the style to beat him.
@avancalledrupert51302 роки тому
@@mortalkomment8028 i have had a 6.6 sparing partner . He loved streat punches so I used to outside parry with the right . Lead feft hook him to temple right hook to body , right hook to jaw . To beat him I had to drive him into the corner widen my stance to cut him off. Make him shell up and swing from my hips . Constant pressure no going backwards or he would get me . I was never really able to find away to anitiate my own entry to start the barrage though I allways found it easier to slip outside of a parry . Everyone else I've ever spared I outreached . I'm not really a 6ft 2 person I'm a 5.11 person with a 6ft4 persons limbs 😆

Peekaboo is kind of easy to defeat, not sure how to make is successful. I'm trynna figure it out though, I bet it could come it useful in some instances. But yeah keep your distance, beat up the guards, throw that lead hook and try to get around the guard it'll come in blind to them

I love that the soviet coaches teach to switch stance when it makes sense. So many coaches (including mine) always coach against but it makes you faster at moving around the ring when you need to traverse to the lead hand side quickly. I think you should train switching from day 1 of your boxing journey.

Again, Sir, congratulation on footwork already mentioned in the previous sessionn, first back and only then to side or at some angles, also involving changing garde and attacking cannot be handled by everyone. With my best intentions, I would be more level- related when instructing, as you also know for sure that adopting skills takes time and some levels of experiences. Consequently , I would separte yOur presentation into three levels: - for beginners- mostly retreating, and passive blocking -for intermediate - the same plus sidestep with mor active blocking -for advanced - the previous skills plus changing the garde and even counterfighting. Best regards, Paul, 66, retired instructor of Karate.

Yeah don't think I've seen floyd do exactly this. Floyd is more close courters to mid Philly shell. He punishes his opponent with counters instead of bouncing back and to the side. Alot less active than this, more paced and calm. Look at his fight with Ricky Hatton, sat in front of him and punished him for attacking aggressively.

The boxer is not aggressive. If that was Joe Frazier against Olezander Uysk he would hunt him down and be very aggressive. Both are Olympic Gold medalist. The style of amateur boxing now a days has fallen apart. Fraser would knock Usyk out in 2 rounds. You have to show if someone gets you against the ropes. Someone who is very aggressive.
@abaddontheannihilator81442 роки тому
You're an absolute moron saying Joe Frazier would beat Usyk in 2 rounds. Frazier would get beat worst by Usyk than he did against George Foreman because he's slow and an easy target. I honestly don't know what it is with clowns like you overrating Frazier to the point you make these kind of stupid statements but even with his victory over Muhammad Ali, he would still get wrecked by top 10 Heavyweight boxers from before and after him. Rocky Marciano, Tyson, Fury, Usyk, Tommy Morrison, and The Klitschko brothers all make easy work of him.
@davekirby82282 роки тому
@@abaddontheannihilator8144 Joe Frazier would kill Usyk. Usyk is an Amateur style boxer for points Frazier on the other hand was there to knock you out and Im sure Usyk would be getting hit. Derrick Chisora is nothing like Joe Frazier or a young George Foreman aggression so don't make up lies.
@zumbulare2 роки тому
I don’t know if Usyk would beat smoking Joe but did you watch Forman beat Joe? Didn’t Ali called Foreman mummy for boxing with both arms extended. He beat Frazer by not having his arms close to his body he would extend arms put them on Frazer and push him back and Joe could not get close to connect
@zumbulare2 роки тому
@@abaddontheannihilator8144 did you say Tommy Morrison would beat Frazer?
@davekirby82282 роки тому
@@zumbulare George Foreman had a chin on him he was never really knocked out only by the greatest Muhammad Ali. His style of pushing you back he might have got away with it with Joe Frazier but he said himself that it was dangerous fighting Joe Frazier. Watch their rematch Frazier fought well against George Foreman . Frazier would beat Tommy Morrison I believe but it would be a hard fight I think Tommy Morrison fought George Foreman when he was old and retired from boxing for 10 years. and still nobody knocked George Foreman out and he won a World title. Who was a left hander and a better cooperative boxer like Usyk but George still got him.
