Everybody talking trash about Ishida needs to do a little research. The dude knocked out James Kirkland in 1 round. That's the same Kirkland that went toe to toe with Canelo for 3 rounds. Also Ishida beat Kirkland when Kirkland was undefeated. Ishida had also never been stopped in his entire career until this fight. Let that sink in before you talk trash about Ishida OR GGG. Look what GGG did to this dude? Nuf said. Show some respect before you reveal your ignorance and do some research on a fighter before talking shit about a professional athlete. The reason why GGG's fights have been mismatches is because he is a clear level above them; not because he's a bad fighter. None of the big names want to fight this guy because they know he is dangerous, not worth the risk, and most likely EASILY on their level.

anybody that knows anything about boxing will see that ishida is a very talented boxer..a little old maybe at time of this fight. triple g???...he's just alltogether a different beast..i think he's at the top of the food chain for sure in his division(s). hes' got at least a gear more then the rest of the top tier fighters.

Dmitry Pirog, the guy who knocked Danny Jacobs out and who GGG signed to fight for low money but who injured his back before he could fight GGG... yeah that guy, he fought Ishida and Ishida lasted all 12 rounds. Ishida was also the first man to beat James Kirkland. GGG knocked Ishida out in 3 rounds, but people still question if GGG's opposition is good? The top names definitely ducked GGG but these guys are a lot better than people say. Just like Rosado schooled Peter Quillin but GGG's win over Rosado, despite GGG having the flu, is given no credit, while Jacobs win over Quillin, who is no better than Rosado, is hyped up... GGG is the truth in boxing. May be getting older now at 34 almost 35, but in his prime you'd pick him or have a hard time picking a winner against any middleweight in history.

Ishida jumped over the ropes and out of the ring, nearly slammed his head into his desk and nearly went to heaven in Monaco, but the referee saved his head. Ishida is a fairly good fighter, but GGG is the strongest boxer in the middleweight legends, rivaling the 'golden middleweight' of the 80's, and it turns out that he is a decent boxer compared to GGG. . However, it can be appreciated that Ishida did not run away from GGG and confronted him like a kamikaze.

Always beautiful to watch GGG's mind work like a computer: Round 1 - observe, find range, get tactics of opponent....and input to "computer". Round 2 to however long it goes: Apply knowledge and execute response. Final Round: Knockout/TKO victory! The Japanese fella pretty scrappy little dude but got owned in 3rd by Golovkin. Better luck next time, fella.
