in my opinion they made kit a pretty bad brawler (at least compared to what it used to be before the nerf) its still decent, and no you dont receive the brawler in the new brawl pass v2, you get an option to switch to unlocking the brawler to get the skin tho

I'm pretty sure this guy already has all rares, super rares, and epics so it only lets him take the credits
