Imo this supreme court decision tried to resolve the resolution (affirmitve action) without addressing the problem (discrimination). It's a very bad look to say "Hey let's end this policy, and hope that institutions will behave based on the principles of our nation." If that were true, affirmative action would not have been needed in the first place.

I am African American and as people we have to stop depending on others to make our futures better, at the end of the day yes we went through slavery and was held back hinderers of years so naturally we feel as if the world/ America owes us something. In reality we just have to take back what’s ours. Invest your time and assets into black Community, all the wealthy members of our culture should come together and put money into every HBCU possible it’s not that many…Every black town and community surrounding schools should be adequate for the children to learn at a pace that is best built for them with teachers who care about them and not just the job, I agreed with the person running for president, it’s not about these surface level issues it’s deeper that, If we reinforce the importance of basic principles and character the world would be a better place, we don’t need quick fix policies or even president we need people who can build long term effective plans

But the thing is sis the black athletes would never do that which is the sad thing

We are having the wrong conversation as a people. A college education is cool and all, but the generational wealth and financial literacy is a bigger topic imo. The people who got the money get the laws created for them.
