@@tylerwilcox3206yeah it is true Diggs is leagues above OBJ currently, but that doesn’t refute his point. They’ve each had 1 pro bowl receiver. With that said, Texans hit on non 1st round draft picks (Nico and Tank) and added a legit WR in free agency. The ravens haven’t hit on 1st round WR picks and waited until Lamar’s 5th season to bring in a veteran pro bowl receiver. Definitely can criticize the Ravens. But it seems like it was moreso the draft busts that hindered the WR room in Lamar’s early years.

Big deal for CJ if Stefon keeps calm during trying times. I see this breaking down by season’s end. No one’s talking about Indy or Jacksonville. Both will be healthier, and all the hype around Stroud gives me “go the other way from the pack” vibes. Diggs didn’t boost the run game in Buffalo, and Houston was putrid in running the ball. This spells “Feed CJ”, but also “Regression by Addition”.

Texans saw they got “lucky” drafting Dell and Nico in the 3rd round, saw how well CJ played as a rookie and saw they could get Diggs to make him even better. The Ravens drafted Bateman and Hollywood in the 1st round and they both were arguably, busts. Bate can still come around though. Should the Ravens have been more aggressive in the early Lamar years? Yeah. But let’s not act like using 2 1st round picks in back to back years during Lamar’s first 2 full seasons, was the ravens not trying to give him weapons.
