Britain's parliament has passed the controversial Rwanda Bill. The bill allows the UK to deport asylum seekers who came to the country illegally through a safe third country like France. The asylum seekers will be flown to Rwanda, instead of having their asylum pleas heard in the UK. Prime Minister Rishi Sunak hopes the bill will serve as a deterrent, and stop refugees from making their way to the UK. Sunak has announced that the first deportation flight will take off in 10 to 12 weeks. But will Sunak manage to deport all the thousands of migrants who are awaiting asylum? Palki Sharma tells you more.

Illegal immigration is undoubtedly a difficult challenge to solve. However, we can all agree that no country on the planet, regardless of how rich it may be, can take in everyone. At some point, a country must prioritize its own citizens in decisions regarding how to distribute limited public resources. It is just basic common sense. It is okay to take in refugees from conflict regions for humanitarian reasons, but that should be done within a reasonable margin. No country should be asked or expected to take in more people than it can handle.

To avoid any kind of misunderstanding: The UK, and other European countries, including Denmark, have highly humane intentions by deporting refugees rejected in Europe to Rwanda - the main reason is that the refugees are safe in Rwanda where a war with the Democratic Republic of Congo can break out at any time (if it hasn't broken out de facto)!

The immigration laws of the EU, which are still effective, say that immigrants seeking asylum should seek it in the first "safe" country they arrive in... effectively ANY EU country. The French, however, allow them to congregate on the coast and turn a blind eye while thousands illegally and sometimes fatally take small boats across the English Channel. The migrants obviously don't recognise France as "the first safe country" and indeed many have come through Italy and Spain to reach France. That should tell you everything you need to know about the Italians, Spanish and French AND might make you think twice about what you think about the British!

Asylum seekers can travel through safe countries to claim Asylum where they want to by law, they don't need paperwork either. The problem is these creatures aren't Asylum seekers they're economic migrants!

It's not necessarily a price. No leader in Arica is independent. After 'independence' they formulated a plan where their puppets will be at the helm o power. They fund both political parties, governments and military heads and judges to power. These people are compromised prior to assuming power and their intelligence agencies have leverage on them. They just do as they are told which is mainly to ensure status quo.

I’ve been wanting to move Rwanda for like three years I don’t see how this is punishment But but a blessing. I feel like I should just become an immigrant to the UK, just to get sent to Rwanda like , thanks.. when I release my technological advancements and lifestyle changed based upon the sephirot.. and modern systems.. Africa will be top continent by far.. and control the entire galaxy cause i already do with technology.. and am allowing everyone else to advance at their slow rates which almost feels like centuries behind me at this point -signed king of Africa

It costs more than £20,000 to keep 1 refugee in the UK with health, food, accommodation etc.. These are not genuine refugees they are economic refugees. Ruwanda will indeed benefit Always remember one man's trash is another treasure. I am sure refugees will be more than happy to do some paid agriculture work in Rwanda so long as they get paid what difference will it make whether they work in the UK or elsewhere.

This is a bad deal for Rwanda civilians as well as these immigrants who got all the way to Uk and then sent to Rwanda. This is also a bad image for the British government in the eyes of the world. They should send people where they came from instead of dumping them to Rwanda. That would happen when immigrants deported to Rwanda. Would they go to other African countries or stay in Rwanda. What about the Rwanda civilians toward these deportees. Would they be welcome or would it cause anger about their government and immigrants. Why Rwanda, there are 195 countries and no country is doing what Rwanda is accepting. There are some reasons behind this deal. These many include: Rwanda is getting money in return. This is targeting African immigrants. Let's see if they sent Asians to Rwanda or just Africans.

This is because Rwanda prioritizes money above anything else. Just look at the active wars they are in right now against the DRC? They do it cause they are being funded by the US-who is just using them as middle man- for more money that the US is gonna dish out to them for their "services". So I'm sure that when they agreed to these deal with Britain , they weren't thinking about their citizens or how neighboring countries would feel. Cause again, all Rwanda cares about is money.
