This song makes perfect sense after 20 years. A true artist. So sad, but so beautiful in a sense that we all didn't know her demons. When this song came out, it was so unlike of her other songs & made me think "What is going on here?" It is definitely her masterpiece. An apologetic song to her unborn child, whom she gave her virginity to the love of her life, only to be screwed over by him & her family. It's very tragic.
