I just finished the book and was thinking the same thing. But I think at that time it just wasn't the production quality it was suppose to be in comparison to other videos. I do love the way that this feels like a time capsule for this era. We are out own worse critics when it comes to our own creations and the environment she was in wasn't helping. What matters is that she really enjoyed that night and despite it being her "worst" video, she gets to reflect on how much fun she had.
