I can relate as my Milli Moo, who looks so much like Toby, gets the same little knots. Watching you work on the knot, then try to divert his attention by combing other areas is exactly what I have to do. Milli doesn't comply quite as well so I showed him the video to see if he learns a thing or two from Toby❤!

It's so lovely that beautiful Toby stays still even though it's not comfy sometimes or easy to brush through his long fur. We had a gorgeous long haired fur baby named Florence many years ago and brushing Flo could be difficult some days so it's so nice to see a kitty so comfortable with brushing ❤ .

Try pure hair conditioner massaged into the knot then gently comb out. Hair (fur) becomes slick and the knot slides out. Your rag dolls have made me fall in love with the breed. I will get a kitten when we move out of the camper (UGH) and into our new home :) Thank you for sharing!

[I was watching videos from Girl With The Dogs and she was grooming some long haired cats. She said they have to be brushed regularly or their fur will mat and it becomes difficult to brush. There was one case where she had to shave a Persian because the matting was so bad. Persians have a problem grooming themselves, anyway, because of their pushed in face.]

I had a cat with long hair too, I used a specific comb for tangles not this one. A kind of curved shape with blades inside, it worked very well 😀

How do you prevent your ragdolls from leaving the garden or jumping the fence. My ragdoll hates the leash but I want her to explore the garden.
