Bryan Kohberger Defense Team Tainting the Jury Pool?

Місяць томуAs the Kohberger defense team moves ahead with their trial preparations in hopes of moving the proceeding out of Latah County, they put together a research project.
In that research project, they hired a polling company to survey area residents to ask questions about how much the residents may know about the murders. The company had reached around 400 residents before a concerned citizen recorded one of the survey phone calls and contacted the district attorney's office to complain.
Prosecutors say the polling company was asking questions to plant negative opinions of Kohberger in potential jurors' minds in the hopes the calls would serve to prove that local people were prejudiced against Kohberger and that the trial should be moved to another county.

For real. From any standpoint, what he’s at least being accused of makes him an extremely dangerous individual. He should be shackled up in an orange jumpsuit until the actual trial starts. This feels blatantly insulting that they’re allowing this.

I think they find them attractive because it’s a “safe” relationship. The men are never getting out of prison but BK hasn’t been convicted yet. I really hope these women are using PO Boxes for their mail or male sorry I couldn’t help myself 🙄😂), but I doubt it. The women need psychological help!

@@AskAlex1999they are not. there was no mention of him being treated poorly or that his mental health was suffering UNTIL he confessed to the murders on a recorded jail house call & his lawyers found out about it. his defense team had just visited him prior to that phone call & they said ZERO about his living conditions. but after he made that confession, now his lawyers are crying the blues. it is all a strategy on their part to get a change of venue, get his jail changed etc. it's just more examples of defense lawyers being shady & trying to muddy the waters. it's despicable!!

Defense didn’t have to consult the survey with the prosecutor and judge beforehand. They don’t need the permission. And that’s hypocritical since the prosecutor went behind defense’s back to call on grand jury and they have been refusing to give IGG information to them.

Kohberger hasn’t been convicted yet. I don’t know how they’ll find a juror, in that state, who hasn’t heard about this case and has already formed an opinion. There should be a change of venue.

Bryan and anyone that supports him is DISGUSTING!! I am 43 a mom of 8 and a grandmother of 4 & 1 otw. No teen mom like me. But I would ALWAYS love the child I knew, but not the one I see now. I have a daughter that has done many horrific things thank God not nearly as horrific as this, but definitely awful things ( No murder or S*x ab**e nothing like that) but still horrible and I have Not seen her since 2019. When you do this kind of thing, the professional, passionate, and assertive manner in which you convey your information goes out the window, and into those nefarious "rabbit-holes" of the masses who shoot of their mouths without thought. People are innocent until proven guilty. Even when we hate it or know for a fact that specific crimes and behaviors have taken place. I am a survivor of violent crimes on my own self, and on the persons of people that I am close to and love. I have NEVER seen any of those who perpetrated those crimes, to be lawfully prosecuted or punished. The weight of that pain is prodigious, it is crushing on all survivors. I was originally from the State of Idaho, it has sickened me to observe the kind of evil, bloody, and murderous depraved crimes that are being perpetrated in Idaho. In order to be the best kind of juror, I would HAVE to set aside my personal feelings regarding what has happened to me, to critically and thoroughly examine with the fellow jurors, according to the judges instructions what is in actuality presented in the court to formulate a judgement result. No tainting shit. The gag order allows parties to use information that’s in the public record. The survey questions were prepared by the expert based on his own research on public information. Some of the questions are based on information that the state/court had disclosed via PCA, the others are based on what media have claimed. Venue surveys are standard in high profile cases. How else are they to assess the extend of bias in that county? The judge told defense to provide proof of bias and so she did. If the questions taint the pool then the state hsd done so by releasing PCA to the public going by that logic

The judge and prosecutor are whining about questions containing public information (true or false) that comes from the state’s public PCA and media statements. If they think information in the questions taints the jury pool then they prejudiced the jurors by releasing PCA. The gag order allows parties to make statements regarding information contained in the public domain. The judge and prosecutor have not given a shit about the discriminatory pretrial publicity before, now they take issue cause Defense has proven bias in their county. They told her to bring receipts and she did. They’re mad about that. They clearly don’t want to give him a fair trial. The judge has been super biased.
