"..I wrote “Blue & Grey” when I was at my lowest point, when I was actually asking whether I could keep going with my work or not. Even the fun parts of work became a chore, and my whole life felt aimless. ‘Where do I go from here? I can’t even see the end of the tunnel.’ Those kinds of thoughts hit me hard. It was when work was a major challenge. When I’m happy, I want to work, and when I’m happy I can put on a smile and see the fans, but there was just so much work to do. I’m an easygoing, you know, laid-back person, but I was stretched too thin and I was starting to sputter. What I mean is, I was having a really tough time, and thinking, ‘What’s waiting for me at the end? It’s important to be successful, but I’m also trying to be happy, so how come I’m not happy right now?’ That’s when I started to write “Blue & Grey.”" -V

Actually this song kim taehyung writes and produce it !it was for his own mixtap !but when the members listen to it they ask him to add it for the albums and tae accept it and he change the lyrics from english to korean !

And if you think i am the bad person, i get it, i can be one I feel like I always felt distant to V, some say that he is rude, sometimes i feel like that and now i am overthinking and thinking its not true, i gotta admit that he seems careless sometimes on the stage I came into the fandom over a year ago and sometimes i feel very sad that i wasnt there before,yeah v is still being goofy, and it kinda makes me sad how he thought that him being like that is wrong but actually was the side that i loved the most, the stuff that he dealt with,it just makes me wanna build a time cupsle and hug him I just think that it might be pet peeve of mine how much they sexualize v and sometimes i feel like i resent him a lot I feel like that also has to do with the fact how hyung line doesnt get much praise... I will always remember when he said purple you and when he said how we are too young to be hurt by this world Sometimes it makes me think of feeling like he isnt open minded but whatever... But again, i do get it, i dont like how people diagnose him, but reading those lyrics and seeing him,it became kinda clear to me Ofc everyone acts differently when they suffer from mental health and i hate that stigma of "people with biggest smiles are the most unhappy ones" which i find it kinda untrue and harmful, since i suffer from depression too It also made me sad when he wrote years ago about his monolid eye(i am not English) and i wondered like, why... it just makes me sad how people see everything around him instead of seeing what he truly is I also feel envious so maybe thats it too, praising for the same thing everyone else can actually do

It hits different, knowing that Tae wrote this song when he was going through a very hard time. It happens, you might start loving yourself and again end up giving up, It's alright to cry. Many people might ask you "Are you okay?" "Doing well?" You might say "I'm fine!" with a very fake smile, and yes it isn't okay. You're hurting yourself inside, mentally you ain't okay. Sometimes, maybe music helps you healing, calm voices makes you happy, and that's how again you find that true smile of yours. That bright smile will always look good on you more than the fake one. Being down, low and depressed is alright. But when it gets worst, it isn't okay. It makes hard to smile, even for once, no. Hugs, kisses and cuddles can make you happy for a little while but, loving yourself again will make you look bright, shine, beautiful. You're beautiful just the way you are, you should cheer others and yourself at the same time. Sometimes, you might end up cheering yourself and not others but again, you might cheer others but not yourself. This is BTS. I have never seen any artist to express the dark and raw feeling without any filter and makes us feel the emotion. It needs guts to experiment when everything is commercial otherwise. I respect BTS and Kim Taehyung for this masterpiece.

This was put together nicely. I'm sure BTS would agree. It was heartfelt. Nice job. Sometimes we forget the hardships they go through because they try to keep that away from their fans. They try to show us the best sides. They make us laugh, dance and sing along to their songs. Watching them being silly and laughing makes us feel good. We don't get to see the behind the camera stress as often as the smiles and performances along with thee physical pain, and the exhausting hours they put in. The sadness they feel Sometimes. Poor Tae lost his Grandmother and Grandfather and had to keep going. Suga suffering from anxiety and depression. Namjoon also suffers from anxiety. Maybe one day we ill know all of what they went through on their journey if they are comfortable enough to share that. I'm sure there are quite a few things they hid from us to not worry us. Such humble and gracious men.

This is very true even though the Korean government has passed law to not force top K-pop idols to serve military service...BTS has made it clear that they will serve their terms in the military in which means time is nearing for Jin and for RM.....must continue to love them and support them in all their decisions.. Remember it will be very tough for them and for all Army😘😘😘

Hi everyone, I wrote this as something like a response to Blue & Grey, from a fan's perspective. A lot of us witnessed Taehyung go through these emotions but couldn't do anything sitting behind a screen so I wanted capture that feeling and frustration. If someone from the group declares "I want to be a little happier", the antis and fans will say "you have money, you have everything, what can make you happy anyway, don't be so selfish youre happy already" We call it 'greed' to wanting to be a little happier without knowing their pain because we think they are so happy in their real life, so if the members or another famous person say they want to be a little happier, they know that they will drop it that way, so they have to pretend to be happy because if they show us their real feelings and be unhappy it is selfless and it's called greed. So even Taehyung, who is deeply depressed, can't explain or say that he is not happy because if he says he will be greedy, he wanted to sing because he cant say that in real life, "I just want to be a little bit happier, is that greed?" said. So these lyrics are the place that impresses and hurt me the most in the song, even though Taehyung doesn't laugh anymore if he laughs I know it's mostly fake, he just laughs for cameras. Taehyung has been depressed for months and he's wanna show us his feelings in this song. When Taehyung and other members is in such a difficult time, support they as you can because if they thinks that wanting to be happy is makes them greed, Tae must be really in a depression. if we dont support him, then we betray him .. (Btw I used translate if my grammar is bad, I'm really sorry)

Poor BTS all the members work so hard for us and I’m sure it’s so much work. I especially feel really bad for V / Taehyung though because he wrote this song and it has such dark and deep lyrics of what was going through his head. I’m sure they are all so overworked and need a break sometimes. This is why I admire BTS so much, they work so hard to make sure they are on point every single day. Thank you BTS you make all your A.R.M.Ys so much happier. I hope you are all doing amazing you deserve the world.

😭the amount of crying i did like, one thing I have never been to a BTS concert ever but I know for sure the reason I want to go there is because I want to support them and tell them that their Blood Sweat and Tears was all worth it and I'm another person who loves the work and i am is here to say there pain and your happiness and everything in between was all worth it but I can't do that because I don't have the money nor the right parents so I'm just going to pray okay for the background and support them by listening to music on Spotify.
