I think people should really start appreciating this as art. Not just "omg the boys look so hot" but, appreciate the story they are telling and the producers and everyone else involved. They are capturing life and doing it incredibly well, it's amazing how such a short video can convey so many feelings and make you feel so many emotions. That's what I love most about BTS.

I watched this video when I was just weeks into discovering about bangtan. I would play this video because the music just had something impactful behind it. Hearing this again after finding out about them in 2019.. it really makes me cherish both the happy and painful moments of life.

I'm genuinely happy that 90% of ARMY are so mature about this and are mainly stating their theories or complimenting the girls. I think Big Hit was expecting a different response from the majority but I feel so proud of my fandom today for being polite to the actresses and coming to terms that BTS are gong to date someday. Keep it up ARMY and lets spread positivity so instead of talking about he immature 10% of our fandom who are bashing the girls and being delusional lets talk about he mature open minded 90% who are shedding light on the matter at hand and helping out other ARMY. In this way more and more ARMY will become of their actions, drop their attitude and feel happy for the people they love, Bangtan. When you release positive you receive positive which makes your feel a lot better at the end of the day. It could be difficult at first but try it and you'll feel good. It is typical of that person who sees how others do things to get ahead due to a third party. From my POV, the girl is needed to help someone, and RM is the person who wants to make her understand that she must love herself and that she must sometimes allow others to reach out to her, even when she needs to work or help her. - In the fifth, with V. The message is very clear: You will not steal. You will not ruin your life for it. Work to get it. - In the sixth scene, with JM and JH. Several things are observed: 1.-The love of JM for someone who does not even give the time. 2. The love of a son towards his mother. The second one is the saddest of all. Hobi represents the boy who despite showing great happiness, does not exceed that his mother leaves him

I don't know what the real theory is but what this is what i think. Each member's scene symbolises different life struggles which would make you not love yourself. 1.Suga is dealing with *DEPRESSION* , so he's into smoking. 2.Jungkook is paralysed and is struggling with this new beginning in his life. *HEALTH PROBLEMS.* 3.Namjoon watches the girl trying to making a living by passing papers to the people. *CAREER/MONEY PROBLEMS.* 4.Jhope being abandoned by his mother in his childhood. *FAMILY PROBLEMS.* 5.V was generous to that girl by paying for her stuff but he was not appreciated. *BAD TREATMENT FROM PEOPLE.* 6.Jimin is clearly in love with that girl but it is not returned. *LOVE PROBLEM.* 7.I didn't really get much from jin but i think it has to do with *LONELINESS.* So i believe no matter if we are going through all these you should *LOVE YOURSELF!*

Im gonna go ahead and say that this is their best concept. Be it something they follow for the new comeback or not, this is the perfect continuation to the HYYH series. Honestly, the most mature and badass of BTS is precisely the part of them that tries to learn and to accept themselves and the world around them. I Need U and Run managed to touch us with their genuine portrayal of youth at risk while Love Yourself is showing us that we don't have to fight all the time. Whoever says this is pandering to whatever soft side is just crazy. I get that we loved the wild side of BTS, but rebellion has to culminate somewhere. It's a simple and basic model of literature (and literature is everywhere, not just books), and I can't think of a better, more worthy climax than the resolution to simply love one's self. So just, hats off to BTS and the concept team in BigHit. This is really the series of a lifetime.
