May those dearly departed loved ones know that they are loved & missed and that their lives mattered more than they could imagine. The way the words are desrcibed its like we are seeing the POV of the victims' families and friends. It is indeed a beautiful song but the story behind it is very sad. Seven years ago, 300 students who were on their field trip died in Sewol Ferry Accident, and this song was made to comfort the family that was left. The captain and crew told the students to stay inside and they'll come back but they didn't, instead of saving them, they saved themselves and the students listened to the elders which caused their deaths. Condolences to the family of the students who died because of the accident.

i knew before that this is about the sewol ferry tragedy but after listening to the explanation about the whole story i bawled the whole night like it was a 2hour explanation video and i cried along with the whole 2 hour. It hurts so much thinking how the ones who passed away felt before dying and how the parents and best friends feels. I cant just endure it by just thinking or imagining about it. I came here to listen and read the lyrics again and it felt to different from what i used to listen. I cried like mad as if im the one who lost someone in that tragedy. A year ago on this day, I was being the happiest with my friends. After our exam we all used to hang out in our school park when we had no fetcher yet. I was happily enjoying being with them. But then when we changed classes in the next level, I thought my best friends didn't need me anymore and I broke up with them. I knew that it wasn't their fault and I regret leaving them. They now hate me and whenever I see my best friend, I blame myself everyday for leaving her 😢 I just realized that it's spring again and I decided to listen to this song.
