A fellow motor enthusiast here. My grandfather owned a classic car restoration & dealership when I was a kid, so I grew up around all the classic 50s-70s cars, esp of the muscle variety. I didnt have a chance growing up around that much HP... haha I just recently found your channel, and as a professional perfectionist in the field of quantitative strategy development, I absolutely love your attention to every detail, to leave not bolt unturned, and doing rebuilds or upgrades the right way. Producing some kick-ass content in the process. For someone whos also a workaholic and has something always playing in the background while Im developing new trading & investing models for institutional clients, its great to have interesting content, and diversify a bit from music. Kind of a lateral trade, the BMW is nice but the is300 will always be more reliable even if it is old. Another simple upgrade to the is300 would be ls400 front brake calipers, cheap and easy front big brake kit.

“Reputable” shop plus outside BMW tech said it’s blown due to poorly executed Oil filter housing gasket replacement where they didn’t bleed the System properly. So either two different sources lied to me or the main bearing spun and spit metal shavings into the oil. We will see

If your going to replace tie rods you have to do an alignment. And if your replacing sway bars you might as well replace the links

Noticed the burnt exhaust tip. Do you have to change to like a axel back or cat back exhaust to have it or can you buy it separately and slap it on my existing exhaust. Btw loved watching this build come together. Really would like to do a lot of these mods to my own car.
