I prefer the stock look without the crazy side skirts but you did an amazing job. I love the paint job, suspension and new wheels, it's beautiful ❤ This was supposed to be my first car, i lost at the blind auction by $4. It's crazy how time flies, this was almost 25 years ago.

I worked with a dude in the coal mines that had a very nice Celica. The 90’s model… And when I was getting older I used to love the new body style of the Celicas.. they had badass body kits for them…I always wanted one and got a 5.0 mustang instead. 2014 model.

The painted drum brakes cracked me up. There's definitely some major upgrades all around that could be made on this car, but it's so clean and is pretty well restored, so it's still nice as a sort of stock option 90s JDM.

My first war pony was a 1990 Celica, manual. It was such a little tank and took great care of me. Did alot of work on it myself but I got a Highlander and sold it for $300. Had almost 300K miles on it. I’m hoping someone restored it and it’s still on the road.

i also have the similar project! a ST185 celica GT4 year 1992, unfortunately, rightnow I don't have enough fund to finish this project but after watching this video. I'll have enough courage to sell some of my collection stuff to start this project! Thank you for such an inspiration!

I also love that model of Celica, particularly if you can find the relatively rare AWD variant of it from when the company homologated their rally version of the car for production.

I feel like the answer to "how do I attach this?" could have been something other than "drill holes and attach it with zip ties" or "just run screws right through the part" but I'm no expert. End result does look brilliant though! :)

Got a 91 5 speed True coupe factory silver celica,had it since '07'.Best car I've owned and drove. Not much power but handles 👌 comfortable mate love it.

Superb proiectul! Am si eu o celica 5th gen ST-i ca aceasta, tot cumparata din Arad. Ma inspira sa lucrez si eu la a mea. Apreciez cum ati mers pe un tuning street in loc de cel de raliu cum face majoritatea lumii pe celica, deoarece cred ca pentru asta a fost facut ST-i-ul, condus sportiv pe drumuri asfaltate. Apreciez, de asemenea, (si legat de celalalt comentariu la videoclipul de e92) cum nu ati adaugat sigle sau insemne GT-Four sau CS in ciuda barei fata. Un proiect de nota 10 pe care m-as bucura daca as avea norocul sa il vad cu ochii mei candva. Toate cele bune si succes in noile proiecte! Le astept cu nerabdare.

AWD conversion isn't really doable. So much modding and GTfour parts are needed, it's cheaper to just find an Alltrac/GT4 (rare as they are now). Plus the GT4 is way heavier, unless you're actually rallying the thing it's not really worth it. The turbo swap is worth it though for sure. Can't boost the stock engine, it'll just blow apart.

It`s not a body kit, it`s a combination. The front bumper is Carlos Sainz bumper with a dedicated lip for it. Custom side skirts an A2 model bumper. The hood is custom made by us here in Romania. For your project you could give a search on sites such as Celicatuning.com or CarbonMycrosistem or Magna tuning. Good luck with your project bro.

I had a 90 GT-Four RHD (Altrac), I feel the love...Sadly I was hit by a Silverado a few years back. RIP FYI, you put the hood vents on the wrong way, they are supposed to face the windshield.

Quality of the work is very good. Personally not a fan of that rear bumper, and the crazy sideskirts, but we're all different :) But I was just wondering why you put the hoodvents the wrong way? The two smaller vents are for letting warm air out at the top of the bonnet :)

Great job on this project the body looks muscular and powerful but in reality it has a basic 4 cylinders motor and rear drum brakes. You need to find an All-Trac/GT4 power train and put it in👍🏻🥰

2:48, ijmuiden is a dutch city, it happens a lot that old cars that need work get exported from here to other countries like romenia in this case, thank you for restoring them :)
