Almost everyone loves cabbage pies. And how not to love them: juicy filling, airy soft dough. There may be several dough options and fillings for such cakes, but I decided to bake cakes from the classic yeast dough stuffed with a mixture of fresh and sauerkraut. It is incredibly tasty and easy to cook.
Recipe for Cabbage Pies in the Oven:
Yeast dough recipe:
500 g of flour (+2 tablespoons for steam)
1 egg
100 ml of milk (fat content 2.5%)
100 ml of water
20-25 g of yeast (fresh / live / pressed)
3 st. l. vegetable oil
1 tsp. sugar
1 tsp. salt
1 egg yolk
For the filling:
200 g of sauerkraut
¼ pcs. white cabbage
1 onion
2 st. l. vegetable oil
1 tsp. coriander seeds
salt and pepper to taste
