We may get Roach or someone else to fill in Soap’s spot on the team. AQ is still active so maybe they’ll be up to a new scheme. Makarov will likely continue committing terrorist attacks or go to ground for a while. We could get more coverage on Alejandro’s hunt for Valeria, since she is a partner of Makarov in terms of mutual exchange.

The campaign looks cool but I do miss the full-scale war we had in the old mw series, maybe it will return in the future since Makarov is still alive

I know everyone will say the OG is better, and it always will be; it was the first time you met those characters and it will always stick with you more. But regardless of cost, they did make an intriguing story that maintains some elements of the original while still being fresh and engaging. And they definitely improved on some parts of it that were weak in the OG.
