After being in denial for a while, I have finally accepted that my dream has just failed right before my eyes. I hadn't cried it out and this playlist just helped me cry, but with a smile on my face. I have let it all out knowing that I will be okay. The sun will rise again!

This chill mix saved me from killing myself back in 16'... I was at the lowest point of my life but I listened to this chill indie/folk mix and to say it saved me would be an understatement. @@Jessica-fg4cc Thanks for writing. Well, Chiba literally means "1000 leaves", so for me, there is a poetic touch on the name already. It is close to Tokyo, so a lot of students come to live here since it is a bit cheaper and they can travel to Tokyo easy. Chiba University is very good, especially the science fields. Like most part in Japan, people usually don't speak English much, to the point that it is very hard to get through if you don't have at least a grasp on basic Japanese. There are some foreigners here, especially in areas closer to the universities or English Teaching places. Chiba is famous for the beaches and also has some famous farms, that are more on the outside regions and usually you need a car to go there, but the nature is definitely worth it. People, like most part in Japan, are very reserved and keep to themselves. I don't know what exactly you would be more interested on knowing, so, I'm constructing a very general picture. Are you planning to visit Japan? Where do you live?

This type of music makes me feel happy, content, in love, living a simple life, living with so much peace of mind, living in a small town, makes me just feel magical and full of love. In contrast, I do like other genres too but indie folk hits like something else.

I'm 22 and just moved out to my first apartment. Everything is overwhelming and I feel a little bit sad and lost. I've had some major disagreements with my parents, esp my mum which hurts cause we were close. Dysfunctional family. I feel like I'm always questioning my perception of reality. I'm grateful to still have a job at this time and able to support myself. fantasised about being independent for so long, and now feel deflated. Need to stop seeking her approval and just move on. I was also brought up very strictly (I'm a Christian) but lately have been having a lot of questions and wobbly thoughts. I'm also in my first real and loving relationship, which my parents don't approve of. They're hard to please. So I'm very happy and also feel a bit strange. Everything is a bit unsettled. Don't mind me, just thinking aloud here :-)

Enjoy your twenties and find love. I am in mid-thirties and I miss my twenties so much because I fell in love but most of all, I missed them because my parents were younger . I live in fear now. I have no partner, no children so it's scary, as the rest of my generation have children, married or divorced but at least they were bold. Be bold, thankful for your job and stay close to God.

Something i really love about the comments to this video is the diversity of reasons for wanting to listen and why it connects to people. Sometimes it helps people focus when studying, other times it helps people relax after a hard day, and sometimes it's literally keeping people alive. For me, it lets me feel a more emotional side to myself, something i dont have the courage to let into my day to day life. This music makes me feel things, it gives me a sense of calm that i cant find anywhere else. It is beautiful, and i absolutely needed this right now

im not entirely sure, i guess its the majority of people that are in my life arent the emotional types, and i have a fear of being mocked for it. its something ive had my entire life, i guess thats why i prefer solitude most of the time

I identify myself listening to Indie and folk, and before I got here I heard one of the most beautiful songs from sleeping at last Touch. In a moment that I doubted myself and everything around me. It seemed that things did not fit and that I was in a place where it did not fit but I had to laugh every day because some people needed to see me laughing. But inside it was already getting destroyed. Just music to bring me peace.
