I turn around and come back to this song. This is more than a song. You are in the middle of the desert, in your own desert of existence, in an immense nothingness. Like a traveler trying to find your way through the sand dunes, you are trying to figure out where you will go. No road, no sign, no sound, just nothing. Your throat burns because of thirst, the sand makes it difficult to breathe, the bright light of the sun burns your eyes. You have no one to help you, you're alone in this desert. Your mind is playing tricks on you because of your tiredness, you see the same view wherever you turn your head, you cannot understand whether you are dreaming or awake. In the middle of that loneliness and nothingness, you hear a voice from far away, leaving you in a cool shade from the burning sun, touching your dried tongue with a drop of water, giving your tired body the strength to keep going in the middle of nowhere. You follow the voice, because every voice in the middle of the desert feels like a hope for salvation. That voice is this song ...

I have always wondered whether I am lucky enough to see Camel playing in front of me one day. Yesterday, when I heard about the concert in Istanbul on May 23, 2018, I cannot even describe how I felt. It was like one of the best news I had in my entire life. I don't even know how I bought the tickets with that excitement. I wanted to thank you for sharing your spirit with us, Turkish people. See you on May 23. Also, I have something to say in Turkish to my Turkish friends who read those comments happily. 3:00 One of the best moments in music. The tremoloed guitar along with the slide solo is pure genius of simplicity. The same, and even more, can be said about the other solos.

Can't stop bobbing my head to the groove that this song has. I can picture a great caravan of camels walking in pace with this fantastic music.

This song, this band, they bring me peace, they connect the dots, my brain can see, my ears can breathe, my heart opens up, my body becomes only meat, my soul wich i dont believe in becomes visible, my hand want to touch everything and by everything i mean nothingness, with peace i remember my war, the fight for forgiveness, for an undesrving existence wich i am not part off
