I love being out in the rain getting wet. There is nothing better than getting wet, coming home, getting dry and getting all cosy inside. Give me rain and winter all day long over summer. I hate summer, although we don't get many summers in the UK. We are having a heat wave at the moment. 28c-32c. Too hot for me. It's humid as well. Great video as always. Here's to the next.

Rains ok but I just don’t getting wet with my clothes on. Same goes for sleeping can’t get comfortable with clothes on.

Mate, that must have been tough going with the rain and wet clothes. A good fire and food goes a long way to making it more tolerable, I loved how you addressed how some people obviously have No idea about the Northern and Southern Hemispheres or what that means for weather patterns. The Winter/Snow videos are much more visually striking than a rain video, however the effort to achieve comfort is far more apparent, which also makes for great content to watch, the two of you certainly worked Hard in this one - Great Vid!

Lol. I know this was a yucky uncomfortable camp for you two , but at the same time, has to be one of the best camping vids ever. Anyone who has ever camped gets how hard a wet fire is especially when the smoke follows you everywhere. You are the king and queen of tolerance - many other camper youtubers would be cussing at the conditions and it’s refreshing watching people who really enjoy camping and being together. 👍 all round

Hahaha it was definitely one of the most uncomfortable camps but it’s always fun to get out. Overcoming the conditions and managing the pain is all part of the satisfaction 😂

Hello from Scotland. talisker is lovely,but you should also try a tamnavulin or Jura or Laphroag in front of a camping log fire,doesnt get much better than that. Great upload,Looking forward to getting away again here when the midges die off.

I just love the 3 channels from the South Island. Victoria and Abel; Tony and Bruno from A B Camping and Cathy from OT. 3 different styles and 3 who face the extreme elements. I realise how lucky I am to be able to follow your adventures in all the elements mother natures gives us. Thank you both you are such a joy to watch I find myself responding emotionally to all of the challenges you face on each trip. Many thanks for posting such interesting camping videos.

Since you regularly use the word "mission", I have to mention my familiarity of the word mission when I took my 2 grandsons outside and their mother asked where we were going.....I stalled and then replied....We're going on a Mission. They were 2 and 3 that day over 12 years ago. Every time they saw me, they asked....Poppy can we go on a mission, and I obliged. Then a cousin asked, then a teammate, then another and over 100 kids have been on a mission since 2011!! TY for going on a mission!!

To get yourselves warm from the inside, take along beef or chicken broth powder and add a healthy dose of cayenne pepper,(Good for blood flow and warms you from the inside). Enjoyed your video!

This was one of the best videos I’ve see lol love watching Abel chop up the tree branches 😅 and poor Victoria she looks like she was so cold 🥶. hey man, next time after ur done cooking, add wood and stoke the fire. there is no smoke when there is a flame. so next time, get the fire flaming and you wont have smoke.

Mate if you put some rocks or wood to make a high wall behind your fire then the wind wont blow the smoke at you. Hope that helps. Luv yr camping vids.

It's a whiskey that's blended, very smooth, not much smoke, but real easy on the palate. Usually, I watch videos of folks and I'm more interested in the scenery...but you two are a blast! Haha... You mad buggers. I love how you take lots of comfy gear and luxuries. One luxury I'd add to the mix would be a hot water bottle. It's my favourite for when I'm staying in a busy hut. It means I can sit outside and avoid people. Hope to see you up the Cobb sometime. Ha! 18:45. Abel and Victoria outed as "Round Earthers"... And, once you've tried Tuimato, you might not go back to Heinz.
