In case you’ve not played it before: Lords of the Fallen is now on a pretty good discount, played it myself and even though it’s not as good as Dark Souls II, I think it has potential for the following reasons: A) Barrel Content 2) Kick enemies off ledges, causing them to levitate on the negative Z axis D) There’s a Broken Sword I’m aware the reviews are pretty mixed, but I honestly think you could have fun and make awesome content with it, should you decide to give it a go! As a long time viewer I will say I sometimes still miss the robo voice and that style content. But you still make fantastic content and will always tune in. Though those videos you did where you and the robo voice were in it were fantastic.

NGL I had forgotten about the old robot voice experience videos. I loved those, but I'm glad you evolved and that your content did as well.

About the robo voice, at first I liked the robo voice more but I realized that what I liked the most was the comedy and the jokes which I feel have gotten a lot better with some old favorites still showing up. On the other hand, I always figured it was something you didn't like anymore which is why you quit using it. From the perspective of somebody who’s never played with summons (aside from the ones for NPC quest lines, like Lucatiel), I find the spirit ashes system alluring and plan on messing around with it during my first playthrough of the game. I think there’s something really compelling about having dedicated companions that can be swapped in and out to accompany you at any time. It brings more of that traditional RPG feel to the series, and it feels especially fitting in the context of an open world Soulsborne game like Elden Ring, because the world isn’t structured in an intricate way where the combat encounters are laid out in more of a “puzzle for the player to solve” kind of way. I think ER emphasizes player choice above all else, moreso than previous games, and so spirit ashes seem like they fit in as another tool for the player to use. My take on the topic is that if I really want to have the “proper” FromSoft experience of overcoming the challenges by myself, I can always do a second playthrough where I choose to not use the summons. Being able to summon NPCs is no different than being able to do magic on your first playthrough - it’s an option that the developers let you have, so I think it’s fair to say that using is considered a legitimate way of playing the game. And even then, it’s not like you _have_ to use them every single time. You can explore some areas on your own, and then occasionally summon whenever you feel like tackling a dungeon with help. People get too caught up on the whole difficulty aspect of these games and forget that there’s _way more_ to these games than just dying a hundred times to every boss. It’s a key part of the experience, but it’s not the end-all-be-all of Soulsborne.
