Armwrestling is exactly like a combat sport. The best way to train is to actually have a realistic match. The opponent will try everything to win and you will have to eventually adapt to this uncomfortable situation and plan accordingly. Learn from them and steal their tricks. You people talk about ego being a bad thing but fail to realize larry has a unique opportunity to experience and adapt to a real professional match. This is exactly what happens in tournaments and supermatches. They will try every single thing including trash talking to gain any existing advantage. Larry is too nice and still a novice to fully absorb the situation , i agree on that. That being said , he will eventually grow tired of being nice and start treating every match with seriousness. This whole video is a massive improvement in my opinion for larry. He adapted quite fast to the dirty tricks the 90 kg indian AW champion was using and won every time there was a decent referee. In my perspective , the indian guy s tricks and skills and sergio s referee skills elevated larry s approach and technique significantly by the end of the video. If he can somehow keep what he learned from this session and continue to grow i might have to apologize for not giving him any chance against schoolboy.
