I have no idea about shoes or how to repair them but I love this channel because I enjoy true craftsmanship. Its a dying art. One thing that always strikes me is how hard it is on your hands and fingers.

This is awesome to see! Forest did nice work on those boots. I was super excited to watch this as I'm an apprentice myself at a local cobbler who happens to be a family friend as well. I have been there for about 2 months now, so still a ways to go to get to Forrest's level of shoe repair or Trenton and Heath's level of skill. Just yesterday I finally was allowed to starting work on tearing off soles and putting new heel blocks on cowboy boots and work boots, so bit of progress from being limited to the shoe shining and sole waxing station. Currently being trained by the owner and his father who comes in once a week to help in the shop. We are very backed up with work.... Anyhow, really happy to see someone else whose learning the trade as well. Keep up the good work gents!
