Nessa's cats knew but they just didn't care, they are kittens still in a playful phase. Animals have a very strong sense of smell

Ellie was an absolute gem.She is the only one who is absolutely sure and hundred percent knew her mom.The other pets probably knew but it was hard for me to understand their reaction.

Ellie probably can easily smell the difference. On the other hand, pugs can barely breathe, so they can’t rely on their sense of smell

Ellie is a bernedoodle. In her case she seems to have gotten the smarts of the poodle and the "all humans are fun!" attitude of the berner

Not always, my cat Cousin It was clingy and my constant shadow when I was home. But a lot of our cats did ignore me when I was home unless it was their idea

Great vid guys! I think it's more difficult testing the cats since cats are much more independent and don't care lol. Ellie had the best reaction! Guppy was like I am confusion. And Tiger gonna Tiger and be the diva, 😂.

I'm an identical twin. Identical twins still have unique, very slight differences. Such as: Having different finger prints. Having different internal Eye blood vessel patterns Having slightly different smell and Having very slightly different voices. Animals can tell the difference, but just need a little extra time to tell the differences. Also, we had a close who had an incredible ear for sound tones. He said that our voices differed in one octave. An octave in music is less than 1 note. Our neices as 1 and 2 year old todlers, eventually we're able to tell us apart; they just needed a few more extra minutes.

yeah. but even perfume scents cannot cover natural human body scent. it mixes with our natural scent and that's what dogs can smell

They definitely got confused specially Gups and the cats. I think you should do a part two but this time Ronny use Nessas perfume, shampoo and her clothes and the same for Nessa. I think your tone of voice helps them tell you two apart as well

I think that even if they are a bit confused your voices will tell them straight away who is who. The way Paul was asking for example Tiger to run to one of you, but this time without saying a word on your end could be a better test 🤔

I have identical twins friends and just one of them lived with me and my dog. To this day, when this friend comes visit, my dog will get so happy to see her, but when her sister comes visit my dog gets happy just like with any other visit. She truly can tell them apart and it’s actually pretty sweet

A dog's sense of smell is MORE than three thousand higher than that of a human. Dogs make use of there nose more, when they communicate. Even if you guys cover each other with a metal sheet, your dogs can still identify who is who just by smell only, even when you cover their eyes.

What it looks like to me is that it's not that they're confused about who is who, it seems more so that they're confused about what's going on. Also there's a level about how much they care to go along with the experiment, especially tiger and the cats 😂 I think we all have our own specific scents that animals can smell regardless of the products we use.

Dogs rely on their sense of smell for recognition and making sense of the world around them in general. What I've noticed is that the dog who recognized you immediately was much younger and had more developed snout than the other dogs. Pugs tend to have difficulties breathing, I'm not sure about their sense of smell. Some of the sensory damage probably comes with age as well. Take a Husky or a German Shepherd and see how fast they recognize you lol

Ellie is so smart. He was like I know who my mom is! imposter! so smart. Guppy was going to the door like "i'm two old for this, open this door please...I quit"...Tiger " I am to old for this and I am seeing double." The cats "their mean, their ignoring me"...Well..thats just cats in general.
