This reminds me of the time last year when I became infuriated with my neighbor. I stormed out of my house over to their back yard asking them to stop! When I returned home, God spoke to me in my spirit: "Your neighbor is not your problem. Your reaction is your problem." WOW! I've since applied that to many situations moving forward.

I've found that the key for me is to make decisions from a space of complete non-resistance to the present moment. This is where my intentions and decisions the most potency and power behind them, where then the Universe conspires in my favour to allow the manifestation to come into fruition naturally with as much ease and effortlessness as possible... And this all definitely starts with becoming conscious of what we truly are beyond our thoughts. The more that I make decisions and choices ONLY from that fearless space, it a powerful guiding force in my life, to allow me to feel the way I want to feel, AND allow my manifestations and intentions to come into existence in the easiest way possible . I already knew this teaching, but it’s one of my favorites by Eckhart Tolle, so I rewatched it.

This is one of my favourite teachings. The story of the room being rented was so funny. Float tank :-). I can imagine the poor girl with the early Eckhart being very spiritual.

One Eckhart Tolle will do to make this world a better place (if only people listen to him both literally and figuratively!). To me, he is another Avatar of God.

I like to think of intuition and gut feelings as a muscle that can be trained. If we are addicted to sensuality, we have a very loud inner voice screaming for it, but also an often small voice that knows what is right. We can totally train the right voice to become louder and louder

This is such a good topic. it is true that a lot of times we are conditioned to feel certain ways about every aspect of our lives. It's hard to know what the intuition is telling you when you have trauma energy in the way. I have learned to always go deeper into my feelings to discover WHY I feel a certain way and if there is any pain or trauma that needs to be released in order to feel better about the decision. 💠🙏 Blessings and full watch

The only problem I have with this is that by not correcting people or making them aware of their inconvenience you will become a doormat for others to walk over. But I understand the reasoning of not strengthening the ego by not reacting or taking part in the altercation.

I would add this. Sometimes, conflict is not expected. For example, in the case of an employer letting go of an employee, or many employees, based on older age for example. This happened all over the world at the start of the pandemic. Most employees who were let go say nothing, challenge nothing. This is not right. It is better to fight in this case. Not for yourself necessarily, but for others who lack the courage to stand up for themselves. Sometimes we must act to engage in conflict, not because it is the expected course of action, but because it is unexpected, and because it the right thing to do.

I agree that we need to be mindful of our feelings. Yet it's because they are created by our thoughts. And our thoughts are not necessarily reality. Meaning, we perceive our worlds through the lens of our past experiences, trauma, insecurities, fears and 7 deadly sins. Since my Near Death Experience, I have become more in-tuned with my gut instinct, which is our intuition. My NDE taught me that our intuition, is our SOUL---which is all knowing. The only way to "hear" our intuition, is to quiet our thoughts. I have forever learned to trust my gut instinct always, in all ways. We don't know the message our "gut instinct" is always saying in the moment, yet the message becomes clear once we trust it. This is just my beliefs and what I learned from my NDE.

I read all your books and are amazing , great advise , smart and wise is this excellent person and writer.

Eckhart has mentioned this women in other videos which means she must have had a large impact on him. Apparently, there was also a group of guys around him that told him eventually that she had gotten into a few fights and was generally highly unconscious. So interesting that a very conscious person can bring a highly unconscious person into presence.

Whom Can We Trust If No One Is Trustworthy? One of my favorite quips from Mark Twain’s The Adventures of Tom Sawyer is when Tom is defined as “a glittering hero…the pet of the old, the envy of the young,” and there were “some that believed that he would be President, yet, if he escaped hanging.” With these few words, Twain captured the essence of leadership in our world. Those who get to the top are the fiercest, most determined, and most ruthless. Today, the latter quality has become so intense that we can no longer believe our leaders, and certainly not trust them to have our best interest in mind. I am not accusing any leader in particular, or even leaders as a whole. It is simply that in an egoistic world, where people vie to topple one another on their way to the top, the one at the top is clearly the one who trampled over and knocked down more people than anyone else. Concisely, to get to the top in an egoistic world you have to be the biggest egoist. So how do we know whom to trust? We don’t know and we cannot know. All we know is that we are in the dark. In a culture of unhinged selfishness, any conspiracy theory seems reasonable, while truth is nowhere to be found. When every person who says or writes something is trying to promote some hidden agenda, you have no way of knowing who is right, what really happened, or if anything happened at all. The only way to get some clarity in the news and goodwill from our leaders is to say “Enough!” to our current system and build something entirely independent. The guiding principle of such a system should be “information only,” no commentary. Commentary means that information has already been skewed. Information means saying only what happened, as much as possible, not why, and not who is to blame and who we should praise. Concurrently, we must begin a comprehensive process of self-teaching. We have to know not only what is happening, but why we skew and distort everything. In other words, we have to know about human nature and how it inherently presents matters according to its own subjective view, which caters to one’s own interest. To “clear” ourselves from that deformity, we must learn how to rise above our personal interest and develop an equally favorable attitude toward others. This is our only guarantee that our interpretation of things will be even and correct. Once we achieve such an attitude, we will discover that the bad things we see in our world reflect our own, internal wickedness. Our ill-will toward others creates a world where ill-will governs, and so the world is filled with wickedness and cruelty. Therefore, all we need in order to create positive leadership-and to generally eliminate ill-will from the world-is to generate goodwill within us. When we nurture goodwill toward others, we will fill the world with goodwill. As a result, the world will fill with kindness and compassion. By changing ourselves, we will create a world that is opposite from the world we have created through our desires to govern, patronize, and often destroy other people.

This method Eckhart leads to sociopathic tendencies. I'm a huge fan of your Power of Now novel. However I've listened to this Eckhart and this goal of not associating with the story also leads to other conflicts which involve every part of you being in the story because there are hearts around us who care and who have helped build this story, who are apart of the pages, and I found this is a very detached way of Being which isn't a bad thing. It is how it is. I'm still journeying with it so I am not disregarding. i know God has everything in a grand balance and us Being here is a necessity to that, as we are, in each breath. 🌿

My ego seems to be gaining ground of late...and consequently I've been suffering a lot more! Not worth it.

I remember trying to resolve a situation saying: ΅I don´t want to be right, I just don´t want to be made wrong, is that ok?" Basically I should have said it to myself. The fact that I still really wanted approval to have a different viewpoint didn´t help things :) But even then I was thinking along the right lines, just didn´t follow all the way through.

My mind wants peace and serenity. My feelings want to be cozy all the time. I refuse to give into being a cog in the machine. I live a life of peace and rest most of the time then working to survive some of the time. This lifestyle presents its own unique challenges. I don’t care to amass material belongings or feel tied down to a lease. I can’t do the 5/days week 40 hour work week thing. It makes me feel terrible. I’m surprised so many are able and willing to do it. They would look at my life and say, ‘why not work more? I couldn’t just float and be at peace most of the time that would drive me crazy’. This busy bee working mindset is what prevails in our culture. I suppose it’s all good as long as we don’t shame one another.
