This blew my mind into subatomic particles. They took an ok song, and made it not only a better version, but actually transformed it into a Pop Masterpiece. Best production, interpretation, vocals, best adaptation I have heard in many many years.

I am mostly an underground music lover but a few hours ago, for some reason, YT crossed my path with Cannons'. Never heard of them before but I have listened to this and some of their other songs about 30 times already. Every sound is pure minimal perfection, they even squeezed in a cheesy sax part here without actually sounding cheesy! To achieve this level of cleanliness you need extraordinary talent and a lot of work. Even the band name is great. So in case you didn't know, this is superstar material.

I had never heard the original, sooooo I decided to pull it up, and see how this version faired. Well.... the original blows, it's really that simple. The magic that has been done with this cover is absolutely amazing! The vocals, the slowed down timing, it's easily 1 of my favorite songs of theirs, I just wish it was longer! I love this band so much, and I am absolutely in love with Michelle's voice, their songs hit all the right feels, and I wish I was better with words to give the justice this song, and this group deserve.
