I had a 98 TDI Jetta. When it hit 300k, the odometer went back to zero. I loved that car. Also had a 01 Cabby. I was tboned and the car was totaled. I miss that car everyday. But I was safe and sound, even the window didn’t break. The guy that hit me (in a first Gen neon) was all jacked up.

In Australia we have a Australian made BMW Drift pad.. it is easy when the pad is wet to spin around.. look up hooligans garage and Australian burnouts.. They did it in a small yard and didn't hit a thing..

The Subaru parade is an odd one. I was part of the world record for most Subaru Impreza parade but that was not meant to be a world record, it was held on the anniversary of the great Colin McRea where a bunch of Impreza’s met up to show respect, just so happens it was the largest recorded number of them in one place

I love these guys, always working together but also staying in their own lane. Letting Dother members who have a better grasp of the subject take the reigns and branching off to start their own projects but also helping out with their mates project. Even though they are working for the benefit of someone else’s property, it all pays off when they are able to make each other better and continue to put out high level content. That world speed record car is in a museum about 10 miles from me. If you're ever in the uk and get the chance to do your own thing, go to Coventry transport museum, where they have a pretty good simulator of the record attempt. The car is powered by two jet engines from a raf phantom (rolls Royce speys). The previous record holder car is also at the same museum and was powered by a pair of raf lightning engines (rolls Royce Avon). The designer of the current record holder was the driver of the previous record car. The team have been trying for a while now to build a new car to break the 1000mph mark, but funding problems have hampered it and its unknown it it will ever happen, they need a generous billionaire.

7:10 you mention real life hot wheels tracks, but a couple of years ago, they did a drag race ending in a loop de loop that narrowed up and set a long jump record in a specially designed trophy truck as well as a wallride hairpin drift.

After seeing the first record, I thought it was impressive seeing just over 200 S2000s at a car meet I went to a few years ago. I can't imagine over 1000 though. It would be so cool to see over 1000 S2Ks in one place

The 1st one was lame because it's Subarus. The Ferrari parade seemed like the only car parade that wasn't lame actually because those are expensive ass fast cars. To see that many in one place would be pretty damn cool

That should be one, too! However, all those proud Trabant owners are more concerned with beating their own record than the overall record. It sounds like a great way to meet new people who have a few of the same joys and problems that you have.
